With offices in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia, Micro Tech places an average of 2,000 highly-​skilled employees daily.

History

Established in 1985.

Micro Tech Staffing is the second largest staffing firm in New England with more than 2,200 contractors out on assignment daily. We have offices in eight states from Maine to Georgia. But as we begin our 30^th year of supplying quality temporary and permanent personnel to high technology companies, it’s a good time to look back at where we started.

That starting point is Waltham, MA, where Joseph Donahue began the business out of his basement in 1985. Before cell phones and before there was a PC on every desk, Joe was putting hundreds of miles on his car weekly making sales and recruiting calls up and down Massachusetts’ famed Route 128.

Micro Tech grew steadily in the 1990s, with clients ranging from multi-​national firms such as Honeywell, to small (at the time) medical device manufacturers like Boston Scientific Corporation. We now have 11 offices in New England, and have expanded our services to Information Technology & Engineering staffing.
