We offer Self Defense Classes in 6 Martial arts for Adults and Children ages 3 and up. Our facility has Kenpo Karate, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Chin Na Grappling, Tai Chi, Submission Grappling and the Lissajous Weapons System.

History

Established in 1996.

Beginning in a shared space in Hudson MA our school started small and focused on personal attention to a student and his/​her progress. This philosophy has helped us grow and led the school to our current 2000 sq. ft. location in Stow. Over the years we have added additional arts to our roster in order to meet the diversity of self defense needs. Our school history is marked by those two qualities, personal attention and diversity of arts. Thanks to the many students over the years Ethereal Arts has become one of the finest Martial Arts schools in the area.

I began training in Kenpo Karate in 1984 and later that same year added Chin Na. After earning my Black Belt in Kenpo in 1989 I learned Tai Chi and Aikido as well. After opening Ethereal Arts in 1996 I created Griffin Ryu Kenpo Karate and also learned the Lissajous Weapons system and Muay Thai Kickboxing. In 2006 Sensei Mike Sweet and I worked together to create a Submission Grappling course for our school and again in 2009 we worked together to create a Chin Na based martial art. Currently I am focusing on training and promoting our school’s next generation of Black Belts as well as monitoring the quality and efficiency of all our arts, and learning Wing Chun as well.
