Easily the best coffee place in the area. This is a charming, low-key café with quality, European-style coffee. The drinks are never overloaded with sugar, unlike other places. This café also has great seasonal drinks! The employees are also great. They’re always pleasant and willing to answer questions about the menu. I love supporting local businesses with this level of dedication to their products and service. If you’re ready to graduate from corporate coffee chains, stop by-you won’t be sorry!

The drip brew was fantastic. The ambiance was nice. My wife got a dirty chai that was sadly really poor. Neither of us wanted to finish it, but once again their regular coffee was very good

Cute place but way pricier than even Starbucks! And when you order 2 iced lattes with just a splash of flavor in each(not the 4 full pumps per latte if you were getting full flavor), you shouldn’t be charged $ 0.65 per latte! They’d be profiting on just one $ 0.65 charge for the one combined flavor shot we got. Pfftt.

This is my second time visiting Nervous Dog. If you can’t tell by the name, they are a canine friendly café and have treats for pups and little water bowls on their patio. Aside from the cute fuzz balls hanging around the place, I love the unique lattes they have been steaming up! The sweet, creamy, foamy, latte is normally my poison, so I can’t speak for their straight up coffee(yet), but I’ve had an apple pie latte, banana mocha frozen latte, and white chocolate raspberry frozen latte– and they were all above expectations! Flavorful without being syrupy. The also offer smoothies, bagels, pastries, mugs with their logo, and bags of their beans to take home. The staff is super welcoming and helpful– like that feeling when your dog comes running to the door after a long day at work and you are just relieved to be home– Its that telaxed type of vibe walking in here. If you’re a coffee fan and haven’t been here, ignore the surrounding commercial coffee places and get your fill of caffeinated happiness in a cup at Nervous Dog!!!

A small, local, and hip little coffee shop. They’ve got an impressive list of creative lattes, but don’t overlook their plain old coffee options! The coffee here is truly wonderful. their sandwiches and salads are also super. Great study spot! My go-to finals week savior.

What a gem of an independent coffee shop! Take a break from your standard Starbucks & stop in to Nervous Dog for your favorite coffee drink or any number of specialty beverages, all branded with cute(if not particularly descriptive) names. They serve pastries & breakfast sandwiches all day, plus plenty of other sandwiches, all of which can be done as salads instead. The staff is friendly, accommodating, & happy to answer your questions or give you a recommendation if you’re not sure where to begin. Too cold to leave your car? Nervous Dog also has a drive-thru window. The space is bright & airy, small but not too small, & there’s usually plenty of space for customers who want to catch up with a friend, play a board game, or just hunker down with their laptop. The staff is doesn’t seem to mind hours-long«campers»(like me). This makes it a nice choice for folks who work from home but don’t want to work from, you know, actual-home. So why only four stars? My major frustration here is that one of their two main seating areas can be reserved for private parties(study groups, book clubs, whatever). I’m sure this is really nice for the people renting it, but for average café-goers, it means that half the seating in the place becomes unavailable. When this room is eliminated, what little seating is left is either not next to an outlet or is not the sort of table arrangement you can work from(low tables, armchairs, etc., not ideal for laptops). They have plenty of bar seating… with a weird lip that makes it difficult/uncomfortable to rest your wrists — & of course, zero outlets for any of the bar seating. Even more annoying is that sometimes, the rented space is only about 1⁄3 full, so the room is off-limits despite much of its seating being totally open. The staff tries to be good about communicating that the room is reserved later, but I once sat down, settled in, & was mid-conference call when I received a tap on the shoulder & a request to vacate. So frustrating! Again, the staff is really nice & always apologetic I’ve started calling before I go in to be sure I won’t get the boot. I REALLY like Nervous Dog & enjoy the coffee & the vibe, but I feel like I can’t rely on the availability of their decent seating options. if you’re just going in for coffee or a quick chat with a friend, it’s perfect for you. Need a longer stay? It may or may not be your best option.

The greatest coffee and sandwich place in the entire universe– and I’ve experienced most of the universe.

Nervous Dog is a cute, kind of quaint but not small coffee shop that serves what is probably the best coffee south of Cleveland; a true gem amongst suburban offices and fast food chains. Their almond windmill coffee doesn’t need sugar or creamer– it’s outstanding as is. If you’re stopping by during your lunch hour, be sure to grab a sandwich while you’re in. Not only do they serve Boars Head, which is the king of all lunch meats, but they’re incredibly generous with their portions making this well worth the money. I DO wish they had a better selection of sides for the sandwiches; the off brand chips leave much to be desired but no reason to miss out because of that.

I love this coffee spot. The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is great. Never jam packed inside so I can always get studying or work done in a quiet atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!

Drive through, small Americano(black). Whoever put the lid on my cup must have been wearing scented hand crème. Gross. I could smell it with each sip and had to stop to clean the lid with a moist towel. The Americano itself tasted stale with an unpleasant finish. I’d roll the dice at a gas station before stopping here again. At least I can make sure my lid isn’t slathered in hand moisturizer.

YES! I love this Nervous Dog. Just as delicious as the W. Market place but bigger, brighter, lots of comfy seating, lots of food options. A good ambient buzz. The staff are delightful. They even have a drive-through! A DRIVE-THROUGHNOTAT A STARBUCKS?! I am wowed. I suppose that’s what being tucked away in a strip mall allows you. Seriously, this is a hidden gem in Stow. Only gripe I have: most recent visit, they were out of iced coffee for a few hours. But the iced Americano sufficed and was delicious. Nice work, Nervous Dog.

Staff is much improved… love the non-profit contribution options! Hubby is addicted to the Chai and I have turned to the«Brindle» not that the seasons have changed… The only thing I would change is the iced coffee… there is no large? The staff suggested adding an extra shot… which helps… but a large would be nice for the summer :-)

Normally I like this place, but today I went in, sat at the bar and watched as several customers walked in and we’re surved ahead of me. I sat for about 10 minutes got up and left, nobody asked me if I needed anything. And that’s on top of there were two servers.

This place has good, fresh coffee and a unique but relaxing atmosphere with a friendly staff. It is a good place to sit and read a book with a good variety of coffee choices, yummy sandwiches, and pastries. It is a good place to sit and do homework or just to sit out on the back patio, relax in the sun, and have a nice snack. I recommend Nervous Dog if you are looking for a unique and relaxing coffee experience.

Cute coffee shop. LOADS of choices. They have a drive through which is nice too. It took a while for them to make my drink, but the drive through was hoppin’ & there was only 2 people working the counter, so I didn’t mind the wait. Plus my drink was perfect. They have some decent-looking items available for lunch here too that I wouldnt’ mind trying sometime. Overall, a nice alternative to big-box coffee shops.

Super chill. cute and cozy little coffee joint that’s great for studying and getting some homework done. They have live music every now and then, which I have yet to experience. They do have a drive-thru, which is kind of neat for an independent shop, and they have some pretty good sandwiches. It is a little spendy but… I guess you have to be when you’re competing with the infamous coffee shop that must not be named…

Consistently good and fresh coffee and consistently good service. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. The prices are decent considering they roast their own beans. No other coffee shop I’ve been to has bested the taste of their cold-brewed iced coffee. They also have tasty sandwiches and other snacks. I come here about three times a week and love the atmosphere.

Not only do I flat out dig the name… But this place serves up a wickedly good cup of coffee. Spacious. Creative menu. Why in the world people choose to go to chain coffee joints when you have places like this… well, I will never understand that.(But those are also the people who think Sanka tastes great…). I digress… Get your buzz on here.
