T.G.I. Friday’s restaurant is synonymous with ‘flair bartending’ and as a matter of fact, we’re credited with inventing it. To celebrate this phenomenon, we created the first World Bartender Championships in the mid 80’s to honor the famous trend-setting, bottle-tossing style of bartenders around the globe. The tradition continues today.

History
Established in 1965.
As the original singles bar and grill and the inventors of ladies night, potato skins, and the Long Island Ice Tea, Fridays offers authentic American food and legendary drinks, served with genuine personal service. Bringing people together to socialize and celebrate the freeing and liberating spirit of Friday was our brands founding premise.
Today, we’re making every day feel like Friday in over 900 restaurants in nearly 60 countries. Which wouldn’t be possible without our nearly 74, 000 skilled and knowledgeable Team Members who help serve our guests each and every day.
