I’ve been to Stowe 2 times now and both trips we hung out at the Den after a day of skiing. Its a little tiny but we’ve manage to get table or bar spots on all four of our trips here which is nice. I love how they always seem to have promo people here, its great to get some freebies. Specials are so-so but the draft list is nice and at 5 – 5.50 a beer not a wallet drainer like some of the food option at the various resort eatery’s. The live music is also a nice touch.

This is the go-to apres ski location at Stowe. They have about 15 beers on tap, most are local craft beers, and almost all are ones I’ve never heard of before. I’m a sucker for a new beer, so ever day after skiing, I sampled at least two new brews. I was there on Saturday and Sunday. They had live music, beer specials, and promo people both days. It gets a little crowded, but we never waited more than 5 minutes to order our drinks. The bartenders were very nice, if harried, and the crowd was social.
