Good clean diner operating 24 – 7 on the White Horse Pike(aka: the place where businesses go to die). The Stratford Diner is your go-to establishment for late night post-Patco munchies, Sunday brunch, and/or 12pm hangover breakfasts. I usually just go for the scrapple. Nice and crisp on the outside and soft and mushy on the inside. The perfect compliment to some over easy eggs.

Good diner fare and prices. Charlene is our favorite waitress. We even stop by for a huge slice of the chocolate fudge cake to-go,

My mother planned to take me to breakfast here and I agreed. I looked it up on Unilocal and almost changed my mind. Three of us went out and everyone had a delicious meal. Service was very good. A little cramped if you are a fat person.

We used to be a big fan of this diner. A couple of weeks ago my friend & I dined in & she couldn’t stop vomiting for the next two days. Tonight we dined in with friends & their was a black hair stuck in my friends food & they forced her to pay for it. My husbands milkshake was disgusting & they would not replace it. Sad to say but bad management has forced us to support other classier establishments. We will not be back!

Average diner food. Average prices. Some food is better than others, bit as a whole you’ll find something you like.

We are regular patrons of the establishment and enjoy every food item we’ve sampled. The portions are generous and we always have enough for lunch the next day. The prices are reasonable and the staff is attentive. Of particular note is the server«Kelly». She makes you feel as if she’s known you for years — that makes you feel more like you’re going to someone’s house for dinner than a run-of-the-mill diner. Great place for good food with a great ambiance.

Excellent spinach and feta cheese omelet. The giant cheeseburger was yummy too. Very comfy eating experience. The wait for your food is worth your time. Everything was fresh. Coffee tasty too.

Usually great typical diner food. The prices are good especially for breakfast and even though the atmosphere may be average, it is a south jersey diner and that’s what many people, including myself, find comforting about these places. Something nostalgic about it :) The staff is always friendly and if I ever had an issue with anything they were quick to rectify the problem. Also this place is definitely clutch after a night out since its open late and also near the Patco speedline if you’re coming home from the city.

Solid food and friendly service. Menu specials are a great deal. Portions are huge. One star off because the bathrooms, without fail, always smell horrendous no matter how clean it appears.

Absolutely disgusting! Order lox and it came out dry on the edges of the fish, discolored and smelled bad. They did take it off the bill but I felt ill after seeing that and unable to eat anything. Beware.

I live super close to this diner and it’s actually my fav in the area. There is one waitress there that is super friendly and takes great care of you, I think I took a sip out of my water and she was around the corner to refill it lol. Food is decent and there is a large selection. I really enjoy their clam chowder. Also a bonus, they have placemats with ads on them and one for a free $ 12 carwash around the corner!

Really solid diner food, exactly what you expect from a NJ diner in terms of quality and price. I always get breakfast foods at diners, so I can’t speak to the rest of the menu. Service was friendly and fast, and the place itself is clean and comfortable.

Came here a couple times. Can’t complain. Nothing too fantastic, the service was very friendly and the food was as expected, maybe a little lesser quality than some of the other diners around. But if you need a diner and you need it here and now, it’s very much acceptable.

It’s ok– your average greasy spoon local diner. I’ve been here countless times and only had 1 – 2 issues with service. The food is average diner fare, which of course tastes best after a night out. The best part of this diner is its close location to PATCO’s Lindenwold Station, which makes it a great place to grab a quick bite after a night out. I’m between 2 – 3 stars here— the food is fine— the whole place is just so average. Oh and you either love or hate their double-fried fries. Many people I know find them gross, but my hubby and I like them.

Went for lunch. It seemed like there was no one around. I ordered something called the pittyburger on sour dough bread. Since I’m a huge hamburger fan, I only get them from non-fast food places. The hamburger was amazing. It was a Frankenstein creation, with coleslaw and friench fries in the burger. The bread I thought was going to be a mess but it was toasted perfectly and held everything together. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars. I will be coming back more often to the Stratford Diner.

I stopped by late at night after work(1 a.m.) on a Thursday morning. I went here since it is one of the few diners that is still open 24 hours(Pine Hill Diner and Starview Diner are not) or even opened at all(Country Club Diner on Haddonfield-Berlin Road is closed). I was seated right away. I was a little disappointed that it took like 10 minutes for my order to be taken, but I will cut them some slack since there was a larger crowd in a part of the dining room that I didn’t see until I was leaving. I tried the special of chicken and bow tie soup. I am a sucker for a good chicken and noodle soup. I had never had it with bow tie pasta. While it was good, it doesn’t work with bow tie pasta. It is too big, and soup was dripping off the pasta on my spoon onto my chin. I grabbed the cheesesteak hoagie which was good. I don’t like the starchy fries(a la Burger King) that it came with. I prefer just regular fries. All and all, I will go back again and try other dishes.

I go here often more for the convenience of its location to the patco station. Their food is okay for a diner, and is satisfying when craving greasy fried food. A few months ago I was here, and a customer at a near by table pointed out what looked like a cockroach on the floor. A worker quickly swept it away and gave a hesitant excuse about it just being a water beetle…

What a shame. This diner used to be pretty good when i lived near it. In fact, it was the only diner i went to for about 3 years. Then something happened. I’m not sure if management changed or they hired cooks for lower wages but the food is horrible now. I went there a few weeks ago and ordered a simple breakfast of Eggs(scrambled) bacon, hashbrowns and rye toast. My order came out in 3 minutes which already had me a little worried. Seemed like the cook rushed my food so he could come back out and sit at the counter to read the paper. The coffee tasted like they hadn’t changed it for hours and it was from the bottom of the pot. Second, my eggs were so runny i couldn’t even pick them up with my fork without them slipping off and back onto the plate. The bacon was floppy and fat and the hashbrown were still green in some spots. The only reason I’m even giving this 2 stars is because the wait staff is mostly polite there. Needless to say, i won’t be going back ever again.

Very typical NJ diner. The place to go in the middle of the night after the bar. In fact, I don’t think I have ever been to the Stratford Diner when the sun was up. There is nothing fantastic about Stratford, but everything is exactly what I would expect. Decent breakast foods, pretty good(fried) scrapple, a gyro that is beater than a lot of local diners, not bad lemon meurange pie. The wait service is interesting late at night and can be entertaining, can also be gruff. There are not too many diners in the immediate area that I would prefer. I avoid Starview Diner and Pine Hill Diner and come here instead.
