Circle G Ranch

Purchased a Groupon for this establishment — it was for four people but there were only three of us so the gentleman at the entrance gave us an extra bucket of food. We had a blast. Children really enjoyed it and the joy on their faces made me smile. Great afternoon.

I love this place, always a blast but some of the animals go south for the winter so check on that

We took a group of 8 on the guided safari tour. We really enjoyed our tour but it started an hour late. We were told the petting zoo would be open but it wasn’t. The worst part was to book the tour they wanted us to book with a credit card. I did. When I got my statement there were 5 additional charges made on different days totaling over $ 900. NEVER give them credit card information!

This was SO much fun!!! We haven’t laughed that hard in a loooong time! We loved it and so did our kids! It was an inexpensive way to have a lot of fun as a family! The cattle was awesome and are massive animals but very gentle. It was great fun!!! Highly recommend this for a good time!

This place completely exceeded my expectations. When people originally told me about this place, I thought we were going to drive our car through a path surrounded by enclosed fenced-​off areas containing animals. Instead, we drove through the animal enclosures, literally surrounded by zebras, llamas, alpacas, emus, goats, deer, donkeys, water cows, and even a few ostriches. There’s no other way to say this: the animals are equal parts adorable, terrifying, and douchey. If you roll down your window, EXPECT ANIMAL HEADS IN YOUR CAR. They will slobber all over everything and attempt to eat all your food pellets. If this happens, throw a few pellets out on the ground and roll up the window, trying not to scream.
Watch out for the brown llama, he will follow you throughout the entire path, standing in front of the vehicle. He knocked our mirror out of place and peed on the front of the car. The black llama spit at our driver.

Seriously one of the coolest experiences of my entire life. It was my favorite thing we did in TN, and we did a lot! The staff is so friendly and helpful. All of the animals are rescues and have free roam. The animals are hilarious! Very scary at first but they’re gentle giants, very friendly and sweet. I even nuzzled with a zebra. How many people can say they’ve been able to do that in life? Some others said not to bring a car but we brought a small Ford Focus and we were just fine throughout. At the end you can pet some of the animals. Great price for such a neat experience! Buy a lot of feed! We had two buckets each, four total. Make it last. HIGHLY recommend this place and we will be back!

I really wasn’t expecting much; it didn’t look very impressive from the road. It’s actually rather large, though, with a patch winding back through the woods. (Expect some bumps!) Great mix of animals, all friendly. Unexpectedly, the cows stole the show! (They drool, so have your baby wipes handy!) We had hoped to ride the camels but even on an off-​season Wednesday morning they were booked. Overall, this ended up being one of the highlights of our vacation.

Great place to go. Thanks to Raymond he was great !!! Good luck making reservations for 1 hour camel rides. we tried for 3 days left a message and email like they said to. But over all great place to go. I would not take a real nice car through the animals are very good but would not take a chance. Ask for Raymond to take you through

I had a Groupon for the Circle G Ranch and the drive through farm/​safari. It was so much fun. My BF and I took our dog (no kids and we enjoyed it very much). Took the nice drive from Chattanooga to Knoxville on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Wasn’t sure what to expect but figured we’d give it a try. It was sort of crowded, being a holiday weekend… about 8 cars in front of us. We got to the window and I showed them my Groupon and then they noticed our dog in the back and told us we couldn’t bring him in.
Now I specifically looked on their website to see if you could bring dogs and they didn’t mention anything about it. Since we came from 2 hours away they told us we could go on the tour, just to keep the back windows rolled up and not let the dog come in contact with any of the animals. No problem as he had not interest in them at all. LOL. I did mention that I looked on the website and the manager said it was a new rule by the USDA. I said that’s kind of important information and that you really should update your website. Besides that little glitch it was a great time.
We bought a pack of feed and were pretty much mauled by all the animals who stay at the front of the park because they know that’s were the goods are. LOL. Big giant cow tongues came at us. We rolled up the windows part way and they stuck their heads in. It was hilarious. My car windows were covered in cow goober.
The place was bigger than I expected and it seemed to be a good environment for those rescued animals. The highlight for me were the adorable new born piglets running around.
This was a great way to spend an afternoon and I encourage you to go.

YOU MUST DO THIS! Whether you live in the area or you’re driving by on vacation, this is a must do! My boyfriend and I went on vacation to Pigeon Forge in December and we were on groupon looking for local deals. I saw their deal, went to their website, and immediately fell in love. This became highlight of our entire vacation. I still tell everyone about it and show them the videos I took and all the adorable pictures. I would go weekly and pay full price with a smile if I lived closer. I wish I could upload video because we got some hilarious footage.
After your drive through don’t forget to park and check out the animals they have in the barn. There are so many cute pigs walking around. Plus they have a wash up area to get the feed off your hands.
Tips:
1. They say the course is driveable in any vehicle but if you have a truck or suv I would suggest taking that because there are some major rough patches. I think it would have been difficult if we had taken my small little car that I had at the time.
2. Buy as many bucket loads of feed as you can fit in your car. We drove through twice and always wanted more feed to throw out.
3. Take your time going through. It’s a small course and there are so many beautiful, precious animals to check out.
4. Don’t let the Llamas scare you. The way they came charging at us really freaked us out but they were so much fun.

What a great place and a must see! We went to Circle G Ranch because we found it by accident online and we have an animal lover in the family. Never did we expect to have so much fun! What an amazing experience. The ranch is clean and you can tell the animals are well taken care of. The animals are also very gentle, but what a rush to have zebras and water buffalo stick their heads through your car window. The emus were so funny pecking food right from the tray. We will be back! Thank Circle G for a time we will never forget!

Great family fun for all ages. We had a teenager & elementary age kids with us.
There is a small petting area before the safari drive with chickens, rabbits, goats, camels, etc.
The safari drive is not long enough to get wearisome nor is it so short you felt ripped off. The drive is full of friendly animals eager to stick their heads in you car window. Most of the animals will let you touch them. So in this regard, it is much better than a zoo. We had cattle, deer, emu, llamas, water buffalo, and more coming up to our car.

Had an awesome time yesterday at Circle G Ranch. It was super affordable and the animals were awesome. We even got to see a 1-​day old camel. Other animals included gazelles, rams, pigs, goats, deer, bulls, horses, turtles, peacocks, roosters, llamas, zebras, wallabies, and many more. Thanks to Brandon for giving us a walk around tour of the place. Loved it!

One of the COOLEST Things I have done with my family. Go East on I-​40. Take the Midway Exit. Turn Left until you get to the Stop sign. Then turn right and drive for a couple of miles. On your right you will eventually see Circle G Ranch, the drive-​thru zoo.
Animals ranging from Ostriches, Zebras, Water Buffalo, Camels, Goat, Pigs, a Longhorn, etc.
I would recommend if you have an SUV that would be best as you are driving on the dirt path up and down around this zoo. You absolutely should buy a bucket of feed for each person. That is what you also will feed the animals at the petting zoo.
At the end of the drive thru zoo they have a petting zoo where you can feed camels, goats, etc. Super fun!
So, pack up and head to Circle G Ranch for one unforgettable family fun day :) This really is so much fun.
