Established in 1988.

R&T Fence Company Inc. is a family owned company founded on the principles of hard work, integrity, honesty and reliability. R&T Fence Co., Inc. was founded in 1988 by Rodney Tekavec a native of Streetsboro, Ohio and his wife Ruth who is formerly of Lyndhurst, Ohio. Rodney learned the skills of the fence trade during the 1980’s and soon started off on his own by placing small ads in the local papers. He worked tirelessly installing fencing in the day and selling fences in the evening hours. Rodney’s hard work and dedication to his craft paid off by leaps and bounds as he was soon able to coax his father Frank Tekavec into working alongside him. Rodney’s wife Ruth prepared the commercial estimates, proposals, payroll duties and performed all of the general office functions. Rodney Tekavec was born and raised in Streetsboro, Ohio. In the 1980’s Rodney learned the fence trade and industry standards from the ground up and started what is now R&T Fence Company Inc. He built his R&T Fence Company in his home town and attributes his success to his reputation of hard work, honesty and integrity of service to others.
