I’m a pretty big scotch snob, and find most alcohol stores like BevMo lack a good selection. I was quite excited when I saw 5 stars for Total Wine — and I was not let down!
The selection is fantastic — an entire aisle of nothing but scotch and another aisle of nothing but bourbons and other whiskeys. Plenty of wine, rum, vodka, and other liquors, too. Plus, free samples and friendly service. Prices are reasonable — some are very cheap, but other items are more expensive than elsewhere — but overall seems quite fair.

Total Wine *should* be a unanimous five stars across the board.
Their extensive selection of beers, wines and liquors can come across exhausting and/​or overwhelming. Mainly because they literally have EVERYTHING. For CHEAP.
In a day in age where people will do unspeakable things for a good deal, you don’t have to worry about prices here. The lowest prices on your drink of choice. Guaranteed.
I walked out with two six packs of California brews that I’ve never seen in any other retail store in Florida. Props to Lagunitas and Ballast Point. And props to Total Wine for possessing these!
Customer service is attentive and knowledgeable. Store cleanliness is as good as it gets.

Can’t help but feel like I was bothering them. Even at the checkout there were so many boxes in my was I couldn’t get out of the store. I asked the woman behind the courtesy desk about a promotion I saw advertised but she gave me attitude so I ended up buying much less than I normally would have. I was looking for a certain wine and the man stocking shelves had no idea where it was. I think I’ll try Palm Beach Gardens from now on. I hope this is a franchise.

Decent selection that is squarely skewed towards their exclusives. Total Wine is, as aforementioned, the Home Depot of liquor stores, which is to say a category killer. This store has already closed most of the nearby smaller chain stores (Crown & ABC). That means less competition, never a good thing.
Most of the staff are nice and somewhat helpful but the service overall is marred by pretentious, half-​trained know-​it-​alls who actually know quite little but aren’t shy about being condescending to their customers. «That’s not real Champagne» we were excitedly lectured while shopping for a well-​known California sparkler. The poor dear then went on about the woes of SS vat fermentation — more information than I needed to know, and knew. Stick to sales.
Good beer selection though.

I’m in from out of town and looking for some craft beer that I can’t get back in Colorado. The staff that I encountered in the beer aisle was friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to choose from lots of regional selections at good prices. I’m very glad to have found this place.

Customer service is very low!
I have been going to this store for years, and apparently today I was treated very badly with disrespect!
I normally pick up boxes to reuse. Today out of all the days, they decided to only allow me take in TWO boxes — - even though they have plenty of empty boxes! I send in my spouse to pick up TWO more and they refused him TWO– only gave him ONE!!!
Customer service is first and today gave me the answer that your store gets ONE rating, not TWO!

It’s like a magical candy store, but filled with alcohol. The only possibly downside is there are too many choices! Knowledgeable staff, and I love that they card me every time I buy something. Thanks for making me feel young, TW!

This is an amazing liquor /​beer /​wine store! It is the Home Depot of adult beverages. I was looking for ginger beer to make special cocktails — though I was miles away from this place I was told that they would have everything I needed, and they did! I was really blown away by the specialty beer aisle as it was broken down by region («German Ale» section was extensive). Each beer had a tag which described the flavors, ingredients, process, and alcohol content. They also had special end caps devoted to Cinco de Mayo — these included Mexican beer, tequila, and all ingredients for margarita making, as well as party staples like chips and salsa. Don’t waste your time at Publix or Winn Dixie — head straight to Total Wine and More.

Truly unbeatable prices and selection. We have discovered new brands from the expert staff and tastings that seem to be going on daily. And we love seeing all our old California favorites well represented, from the champ, wine and vodka’s.

Forget Disney World… THIS is the happiest place on earth.
Huge selection of beer, wine and liquor. If you can’t find the booze you’re looking for in this place, I seriously have to question whether it exists. I could spend hours just wandering this vast store (and often have). What’s really great about Total Wines is that all of the employees are very knowledgeable and helpful… there isn’t a question that they can’t answer about any of the products, and I’ve never gotten a bad recommendation from a store employee on a new brand.
