Welcome to the Art House of Tailoring! House of professional tailors and high quality services! We will be glad to help you with all your alteration needs– from reseting buttons to restyling jackets, will save an original hemming or fix hole on your favorite jeans. We work with any kinds of materials. We’ll give you professional alteration for your wedding gown or special occasion dress. Helping our customers to restyle and resize jackets, puts, coats, abel to change a lining, can make you a decorative pillowcases from your design. Our shop been in same location for 21 years and we seeing a third generation of our customers. Our door and our hearts is open for everybody– men, woman and children.

Hi, my name is Tatiana and I am the owner of the Art House of Tailoring. I graduate a Fashion Institute in Sant Petersburg, Russia, and my husband Aron, always had a dream to have his own tailor shop and our dream come true!

They tried charging me $ 70 to have two pairs of jeans shortened. I went down the street and had the job done for $ 35 instead. Even my fantastic seamstress in Beverly Hills only charges $ 15-​$ 20 per pair. Terrible customer service too.

My husband and I absolutely LOVE Arou & Tatiana. They have altered many extremely expensive items for us and not so expensive and they all fit fabulously. Really makes our figures stand out. I never knew my clothes could look so good. They have moved a few doors next to Arts Deli. They are keepers.

My experience mostly echoes all the others. Tatiana is very nice and helpful. They did some work on a pair of suit pants for me and had them ready in 1 day (where other tailors I called said it’d take 2 weeks). And their speed doesn’t seem to have affected the quality of the work.
Of course, it is a bit pricey, but worth the money to me.
If you’re looking for quality and good service, I recommend. If you’re hoping for something inexpensive, this is probably not the place to come.

Welcome to my first Unilocal review! I have been taking all of my items from casual shirts and dress shirts to blazers and leather jackets to Art House for more than 6 years and have never been disappointed. I’m 6′-6″ tall and slim, so VERY hard to fit. Finding something off-​the-​rack is very hard for me, but they always make the items look perfect. They have even extended the length on the sleeves of a leather jacket, making it look completely original. So talented, so friendly. I always look forward to picking up my items!

I had a bit of a unique project for them and they did an extraordinary job! My fiancé tore his old favorite top so he thought I had tossed it. Well, I hadn’t; I held onto it for a year and then brought it in to be made into separate bags for his musical equipment as a birthday present. I loved their approach to the job– they loved the idea and jumped right in with ideas. Stellar work! They added a lovely liner, decorative stitching, zipper, & drawstrings. These turned out so much nicer than I ever could have expected. My fiancé was so impressed & absolutely loved the bags. I’m so grateful & can’t wait to work with them again!

I’ve been here a couple times and I can’t tell you enough how pleased I am, today I picked up about 7 pieces that I had tailored and EVERYTHING fits EXACTLY how I envisioned it, she turned items that looked frumpy on me, to the perfect fit! I feel like it’s better than new! So happy, not only are they the best I’ve been to, they’re all so welcoming and sweet and take their time, LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

They do very good work here. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is they can be a bit pricey. However, I think if there is ever a time to spend a little extra money it is on a good tailor. They really do quality work and know what they are doing here!

This place is top notch! I brought in an item to be repaired that 3 previous places (including a very high end place in Beverly Hills) wouldn’t even touch as they said it was too challenging a job. Tatiana (the owner) looked it over carefully, said she could do it, and told me to come back in a few days. I picked it up today and the quality of the work was amazing. It was perfect. The price was reasonable and she could not have been nicer. This is the second time I have brought something difficult for them to repair (the last time was a very expensive beaded gown that needed to be shortened), and my experience then was the same. You won’t find better work at better prices by nicer people!

All the folks at Art House of Tailoring are really nice and do a terrific job. I’ve only needed some tailoring on new slacks, but my wife has been very happy with how Tatiana has updated some very expensive dresses, slacks, and jackets (e.g. Missoni, St John). Their charges and turn around time are quite reasonable.

Tatiana and Aaron are pleasant, helpful, but most of all Talented! I take all of my finest items to them and they do impeccable… and nearly invisible work. Their prices are inexpensive compared to their talent… Only go if you have a keen eye for quality, otherwise you won’t appreciate what you’re getting…

Excellent work. I have been using them for many years (suits, shirts, pants, etc.) and they always do amazing work. The only hard thing to find sometimes is parking. Worth every penny if you want your clothes to fit properly.

It’s overpriced one dress costs about 70 dollars to lessen the size. My dress costs 110, I bought it on sale from Flannel company. (One of the best dresses now.) She didn’t finish on time. She made me come back again another day, though I needed my garment back then and many other details, which I didn’t like. She tore holes in my silk fabric dresses!!! I was far beyond upset!

I read some of the prior reviews and thought the first reviewer must have got the wrong business.
Aaron and Tatiana are two of the nicest people you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. I have used Art House about 10 times in the last few years, after finding them through a friend’s recommendation.
Their work is always first class. I agree it’s certainly more expensive than Flair cleaner’s tailor, for example, but the last time I used Flair’s in-​house tailor, I had to take my jeans over to Art House afterwards to fix the mistakes. In short: What’s cheap is expensive, almost always. And the cost of ruining a garment is far more than the difference between an amateur and an expert tailor.
And they are the opposite of ‘slow’. Every time I’ve dropped something off, I’ve always picked it back up that day, or the day after. They even did a rush job for me over lunch.

This is it! If you need a good tailor, this place is it. The older gentleman who seems to run the shop has decades of experience with doing custom tailoring, and with custom designing of clothes earlier in his life. This man lives and breaths altering clothes. He has always kept his word to me about hitting the deadlines I’ve needed for alterations and he is very proud of his work and about making you, the customer, happy.

I’ve got to say, this guy is a true craftsman. I brought in a suit that needed some serious work to fit properly. It was an older suit and way too baggy. He was able to take in the body, rotate the sleeves and completely take apart and reassemble the pants. It’s now perfectly fitted top to bottom.
I would trust him with any job, no matter how challenging.

Love Tatiana and Aaron, they do beautiful work and I’ve been going to them for over 15 years or so. They may be pricier than other places, but I love the service and quality of work.
I highly recommend them for your next tailoring. They are very good at using your old hem for your jeans as well.
