Found CMBeauty Lounge via Unilocal and am so glad I did! I called in for a cut only, but after chatting with Charis about the possibility of also coloring my hair, we decided to go for it. She was totally receptive and excited to do so (even though it added quite a bit of time to my visit). I have never had someone take so much care with my hair the way that she did. You can tell she loves what she does. Happy to report that I have received lots of compliments on my hair since having Charis cut and color it! Will be back again, for sure!

I had my hair done at CMBeauty Lounge by Ms. Liz, and I love my hair! She colored, conditioned, trimmed, and styled my hair. My hair has such a shine and healthy look. I have gotten so many compliments, I will definitely be her regular client. The service to please is excellent. A highly recommended beauty experience.

I love this place! Not only is everyone super friendly, but by far one of the best blow outs I’ve ever had! I HIGHLY recommend coming here. She’s also does extensions, which are next on my list to get. From what I’ve seen her work is impeccable.

I’m not one of those people who normally enjoy blowouts but after my experience with Jainie Diaz, I do! First, CMBeauty Lounge is very welcoming and comfortable. Both the receptionist and Jainie greeted me warmly and immediately put me at ease. Jainie communicated with me to find out how I wanted my hair styled and then confirmed to make sure it was right. She then washed my hair and it was the best hair wash I’ve ever gotten. She wants clients to relax and feel like it’s a spa experience, so she gives a wonderful scalp massage and even massages the temples of the face a little. It was amazing and I thought about canceling the Blow Dry to ask her to continue massaging instead. I’m glad I didn’t though because even the blow dry was kind of relaxing. And my hair looks amazing (picture movie star amazing!) I hope it lasts several days. Jainie recommended that I get a satin pillowcase to keep my hair looking good and she showed me how I could wrap a scarf around my head, to keep this style for several days. She does makeup too and next time I have a special occasion, I’d have her do my hair and make-​up because besides being talented in those areas, she has a calming and pleasant demeanor. Jainie Diaz is the best thing to happen to my frizzy, over processed hair since I discovered protein conditioner. Not only did she give me a fabulous, modern cut, she is teaching me how to style my hair using significantly less heat to improve the condition. After two weeks it’s already making a world of difference. Thank you so much Jainie!

Had a blow dry by Jaimie Diaz and was extremely satisfied. Very sweet and considerate. My hair came out just the way I like. Would strongly recommend her.

I had such a great experience last week with Charis. She’s a total perfectionist and takes a lot of pride in her work. She even rinsed out a product that wasn’t doing well with my hair and re blow-​dried it, just because she said my hair would look oily the day after if she left it. I have wavy/​curly hair and I deal with a lot of hairdressers who want to cut my hair to be styled straight. Charis cut my hair exactly the way I love it, and it dries perfectly curly on its own now. With the groupon I got the cut, blow dry, and deep conditioning treatment for only $ 50 but I will definitely be back to pay full price next time. Totally worth it.

Love, love them! Charis always knows how to make my hair glamorous and it takes no time at all. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they are very personal.

Charis is amazing! Not only is she a lovely person, but she does an amazing job! I was lucky enough to find this hidden gem. The salon is beautiful and everyone is very nice. Charis is always accommodating and every time I come, I leave refreshed and with amazing hair! Not only does my blowout look amazing, it lasts too!!! I highly recommend chairs and this salon. I’m not one to brag about my hair or my looks, but in this case I’m going to say that when I’ve had my hair cut and colored by Charis at CM Beauty Lounge, I can honestly get into my vanity with verve. Charis has a great style sense, and excellent skill to make any hair style work. The key here is that she creates styles that don’t «own» you, but that you can own. I’ve literally been stopped on the street and asked who cut my hair. The other mention that I should make here is that the location, and parking in the back easy too. The lounge itself is nicely decorated and pleasant. Charis and her staff are friendly and professional. Fun as well! You won’t find whiny stylists here!

I bought a $ 100 Unilocal deal for half price and I’m so glad that I did. Charis is located in Studio City, I felt so bad about getting stuck in traffic on my way to the appointment but she was understanding and sweet about it.
I had a wash and blow dry done for my trip to Cabo, and Charis really managed to get some volume in the roots by using volume spray and velcro rollers. I flipped my hair upside down the next day and it was like a refreshed hair style instantly (unlike when I’ve done my own hair!)
I can’t wait to come back again, I had such a great experience at this cute salon. Very intimate, private and warm atmosphere with reasonable prices.
