Working with Robin is such a great treat. She has such exquisite taste and is incredibly efficient. A few hours to transform my closet, a few hours at a store to transform my wardrobe, and a few to style all new outfits for me. I rest easy knowing mornings will be incredibly easy — no more agonizing over what to wear. She is so decisive and helped me get rid of years’ worth of clothes I had stopped wearing. She has a keen eye and you can trust that she will understand you and dress you for you. She’ll save you a ton of money in the long run since you won’t waste it on things you’ll never wear. Working with Robin was one of the best things I could have done for myself. I was nervous about the experience at first, but Robin was so incredibly easy going and friendly, she immediately made me feel comfortable. I contacted her because I had gained weight over the past few years and was feeling insecure about my clothing. Robin helped me find things that made me feel more beautiful than I’ve felt in years. I love my wardrobe so much now, and I actually look forward to going out again. I get lots of compliments every day, but the best thing about the experience is how beautiful and confident I feel about myself.
For the first part of the experience, she went through my wardrobe at my house. She was very helpful and showed me how to organize my closet. She had great advice, and now my closet is very functional. We got rid of all the clutter and clothes that weren’t flattering, and had a funny moment when my three year old son worried that Robin was going to go through his wardrobe next. She promised she wouldn’t, and that his basketball jerseys were safe. ;)
The second outing was shopping. I’m not much of a shopper, so it was wonderful to have Robin do all of the work. She really understood what I needed, and everything she found fit my personality and shape perfectly. I was surprised at what a great time I had. When I go shopping on my own, it’s always a tedious experience and I bring in so many clothes that don’t fit well, and I leave with one or two things that I don’t really like for a lack of finding something better. Robin easily found me an entire wardrobe that I love, and knew exactly what would look great on me. She is so good at what she does! And to top it off, we had a wonderful day. She is very easy to talk to, and made the whole trip so much fun.
On the final day, Robin came to my house and showed me how to put it all together. She took photos and sent me a look book that I keep on my phone. With the look book and her help, it’s really easy to pick out what I’m going to wear now. Instead of trying to find something that looks okay, it takes me two seconds to put something on that looks amazing.
I know I wrote it before, but contacting Robin really was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. I’m so glad I made the leap, and I highly, highly recommend her.

Robin’s great. I was looking to update my professional wardrobe and create an adult casual wardrobe as well. (Seriously, it was bad — my only jeans were from high school, i.e. rhinestones on the butt). At the end of the day, hiring a stylist may seem like an unnecessary luxury, but it’s actually a great value, whether you’re planning on a wardrobe overhaul or just need help packing for a trip.
First, she really listens to you, but she’s not a pushover and will give you her honest opinion on potential outfits. She thinks about what works for your body type, what is stylish, but not so trendy that you won’t be able to wear it next year. She’s also takes into consideration the things you’re not asking for and maybe didn’t know you needed, but end up being important. I got a great pair of Cole Hahn booties that looked pretty blah boring in the shoe department but that I absolutely love with jeans, and bring a lot of outfits together.
She asks about your typical schedule, so she’s helping you make practical decisions about what you will need. She’s careful to stay inside your budget. The thing that was most helpful to me was having her show me how to put outfits together — she can look at a skirt or top and connect it with 5 other things in your wardrobe that you didn’t think about, which helps you get more bang for your buck.
In addition to her creative talent, Robin is also a consummate professional. She was always 5 minutes ahead of time, and had clearly put a lot of planning into each session. She had bottled water and lunch arranged when I showed up at Bloomingdales, had already staked out the big dressing room, and had the room half filled with things to try. She guides you to the best salespeople at the stores — the saleswoman at Bloomies spend 45 minutes with me at check-​out making sure I got every discount possible. She’s efficient and works quickly, and she responds to emails, texts, and phonecalls usually within an hour but always within the same day.

I simply adore Robin! Robin is like that super chic little sis that you always wish you had. She came into my closet, and like a good therapist helped me separate from the toxic clutter in my life. She went hanger by hanger and sorted my wardrobe. That was phase one.
Phase two is where the fun kicks in. Robin whips up outfit after outfit, shoes and accessories included. She really got my style, but she seriously improved it.
Having a stylist seems so excessive but it truly saves you so much in the long run. Jackets that have sat unused in my closet for years are now my new favorites. Robin really taught me how to wear the things that I already have, how to part with the things I don’t need, and how to put myself together effortlessly. So next time you are about to drop a few hundred on a new pair of boots or shoes, realize that a styling session will get you way more mileage than those boots!

I found Robin to be simply amazing! I had an incredible experience with her services. She came over, assessed my «lacking» wardrobe, we went shopping and found some great pieces for work and play. Robin was terrific at telling me what fabrics, cuts and styles worked (or didn’t) and why. I feel very confident now with having the knowledge now to make smarter choices on styling, and have Robin to thank for it… And she is a delight, to boot!

Robin is AWESOME! I have loved working with her and the compliments I now get on my wardrobe make it all worth it! Robin also creates a look book with your shoes and accessories so you always know what outfit to wear and what goes with it. That is my favorite part! It’s a very good feeling to look in your closet and know exactly how to wear everything, and have different options with various pieces. She is also fun to be with. ADORE her!

Think «What Not to Wear», but better! I’m a recent college grad and every time my mom and I watched Stacey and Clint, my mom would say — you need that! So my mom hired Robin to do a Fashion Makeover for me. It was the best experience!
First, Robin went through my entire wardrobe: clothes, shoes, handbags and advised to get rid of items that were out of style, didn’t fit well or didn’t match my personal sense of style. Thankfully, Robin is very kind and genuine, so this wasn’t painful at all. In fact, I wasn’t sad at all departing with the items and felt really good knowing everything left in my closet was Robin approved. Then, based on my responses to a styling questionnaire, Robin and I went shopping together to buy versatile pieces that would work for the office and also, could be transformed into casual night out outfits. The best part was that Robin put together my office wardrobe to reflect me. For example, my style is cosmopolitan, a little rock and roll meets pixie, and so she incorporated pants with a little bit of leather and show-​stopping jewelry. It feels so good going to the office being me! Then, after shopping, Robin came to my apartment and did styling. This is where she put outfits together, took pictures and then sent them to me. I am able to reference them anytime I ask myself, what should I wear? It makes getting ready so easy and fashion fool-​proof!
As a result of working with Robin, I feel much more confident being able to dress in way that reflects who I am. I highly recommend working with Robin to makeover your closet. It’s the best experience and investment!

After having a baby I felt like I needed something to make me feel like «me» again. I looked in my closet and felt like nothing fit my changed shape and nothing was both cute and mom appropriate for going to baby class or to the park. I am so thrilled I found Robin! We got rid of 9 bags of clothes, shoes and accessories… and many of them that I still thought were cute until Robin showed me what was wrong with them. Apparently, just because its designer doesn’t make it great. After a quick shopping trip, we filled my closet right back up with easy mix-​and-​match pieces and then Robin came back to my closet to take pics of how to put cute outfits together that I keep in my iPhone. She couldn’t have made it easier or more painless to re-​build a stylish new wardrobe. I’m one of those people who likes to have cute clothes hanging in the closet, but just doesn’t really enjoy shopping, so it’s really been a perfect solution. I’m much less stressed since I’ve also learned a lot from her about what works for me and what really doesn’t, and now I find it MUCH easier to navigate the stores on my own. I loved the experience so much I gave my husband a closet overhaul and shopping trip with Robin too! We’re definitely a much better looking couple now ;) About to head out and do some fall shopping with her next week. I can’t wait!

Every year for nine years I join my husband’s family for a week long vacation at the beach. I lament for weeks about what to pack and wear, knowing that no matter what I take, I will feel insecure, fat and ugly. My husband has four very pretty sisters, and two equally pretty sisters-​in-​law. I don’t mean to sell myself short. I’m smart, thin and pretty myself. But sitting at the beach for a week around that much beauty will make any woman uncomfortable eventually.
This year I decided to try something different and I turned my style over to Robin. In her hands I wore dresses and cute sandals, opposed to my ordinary capris and tees. She chose colors and items that I would ordinarily walk by in a store, and they hung beautifully on my body and brightened my eyes and skin. I wasn’t tugging on my shirt or squirming and wondering if my pants were quite right. I was owning my clothes.
Thank you for my self confidence over the entire week! What a difference it made. There is no price tag you can hang on that.

Robin is the best. I had just started working and wanted to have a more grown up look. She comes from a fashion design background and has an amazing eye for what looks good on you personally. She’ll work magic with your own closet (always full of clothes but nothing to wear?) and put together outfits and combinations you have never thought of, but look super cute and put together. She’s also so honest and loves to hear what you think as well.
Sometimes, especially in LA, I get overwhelmed going shopping sometimes because there are sooo many choices. For those of you who dread going shopping, take her with you! She’ll seriously pull so many great things that work with your body and personal style that you’ll actually have a hard time deciding what to keep. And she’s so fun to hang out with.

For my birthday, I decided to treat myself to a day with Robin. It was one of the best gifts ever! Robin was wonderful at helping me streamline my closet. With two hours to go, she sensed I would benefit most by dropping everything and heading to the mall. That’s what we did; and it worked out great. I ended up with the best of both worlds — room in my closet and a bunch of great new pieces to mix and match with what was left. I highly recommend everyone treat themselves to Robin. I’m looking forward to doing it again!

If you are looking to change your life (fashion wise) in small or large way, Robin is your girl! She will do things like: organize your closet and show you how to wear your old clothes in a different way, take you shopping and get you a certain look or an entire new wardrobe!
I have to tell you, I always scoffed at the idea of having a «stylist». It sounds so cliched, disgusting, Los Angeles plastic… but sometimes you just don’t know what to wear any more. After having a baby, none of my clothes fit and my body had changed. To be honest, I wasn’t sure WHAT would look good on me. Plus, I was delusional about the size I am. In my mind I was cow sized… Robin straightened me out. (Granted, I am no longer a 27… but a 29 isn’t half bad.) We actually had fun shopping. I didn’t want to slit my wrists in the dressing rooms. I left with a smile– and used her a second time for summer clothes!
Robin, on top of being fun and knowledgeable. is a VERY kind genuine person. I truly enjoyed my experience with her and would recommend her to ANYONE! You will NOT regret it! I heart Robin!

It was always my dream to have an objective mind go through my closet. Shopping and finding things? Not a problem. And I keep things forever for all the «what ifs» in the world. So I am bursting with choices, and yet also wearing the same things the same way over and over.
Enter Robin. It was one of the best days ever! Robin was professional and friendly and immediately made you feel comfortable with anything and everything that was about to happen. For the first time in my life I have a working wardrobe. The quantity was drastically diminished and the quality was all that was left. I felt like I had a new wardrobe. She was absolutely right on with all the things I no longer needed. I don’t miss any of it at all. (and I didn’t sneak anything back in the closet when she left!)
As we went along, she would have me try things on, so we knew for sure that it could go… or, she would show how it could work with things I never thought of using it with before. She went through clothes, shoes, belts, jewelry, and gave me advice on where to look for the few things my closet could actually still use. Who knew?
I was also leaving for a trip the next day and she offered to help me put things aside for that too. Outfits I never would have thought of.
A couple months later, I had Robin come back to show me how to create some different looks with my ‘new wardrobe’. I had a trip later that week and at the same time, she literally packed me for the trip. I cannot tell you what a pleasure that was. It made my week and made my trip sooo much easier and enjoyable. AND, she did a spectacular job. I wore everything, nothing left over, was complimented on my outfits, and all in a carry-on…a first for me!
It does seem a luxury to be able to have this service, but I have to say, it is worth every single penny, regardless. The amount of time and space Robin has saved me and the fun she gives to getting dressed is more than I could have hoped for. I cannot say enough about her.

I’ve never written a review before because it feels a bit contrived but when I began to work with Robin as my personal shopper and stylist, I realized that a HUGE shout out was absolutely in order. For starters, before Robin I found myself buying the same things over and over and over again. You know the drill; the black tops, the same kind of jeans, the same casual blazers and always wondering why I never had anything to wear in a closet filled to the brim with clothes.
When I heard about Robin and how amazing she was a little bell went off in my head. After our first shop out together, I knew what was missing from my wardrobe all these years; ROBIN. Not only does she take me to stores that I would never normally venture into on my own (my default is always bloomies and boy, does that get old after a while) but she has helped me to quickly narrow down what will work on me versus what won’t… Perhaps more importantly Robin has an incredible way of mixing and matching items so that you maximize your purchases and choose things that are perfectly suitable for you for whatever the occasion might be… She really does have an in depth understanding (often before you yourself do) of what you’re looking for. She’ll seriously take the pain of putting together and accessorizing your outfits be it for a wedding, a vacation, a work shindig or an upcoming birthday.
So while it might seem like an extra or unnecessary expense to have a personal shopper in these tough economic times, hiring Robin will actually SAVE you money (not to mention time) Instead of a bunch of «stuff» hanging in your closet that you’ll ultimately end up wondering why in the world you purchased once you get home, with Robin you’ll end up with amazing gorgeous outfits and a sense of great confidence as you venture out to your next important trip or function knowing that you have been dressed for success by a truly talented and incredible fashion expert. All I can say is I am SO glad and grateful to have found Robin!
