John’s Mobil

I use to go here every week because it’s close to my house and I always use Mobil because of Speedpass, however, it’s consistently 50 – 60 cents higher than any other station nearby (or anyplace for that matter). I asked the cashier why and they told me that the owner is always complaining about how he needs money. Save your $$ and drive to the next block. It’s worth the savings.

Rip off! Drove by this place and saw that gas prices are $ 1 over the price at other gas stations. Avoid at all cost even if your car is running empty. I’d rather push my car two blocks for cheaper gas.

The attendants there are rude and don’t speak English. Their gas prices are 50 cents higher than all the local gas stations.

This gas station is like entering the twilight zone. It’s a separate universe, disconnected from any reality that we understand. First… they are expensive beyond any logic. And I’m not just comparing to discount stations… There’s a Shell and a 76, both within 60 seconds drive, and both of which are consistently 50 – 60 cents per gallon cheaper than this Mobil.
But beyond even the pricing… try walking inside and you’ll feel an eerie silence (and almost hear Rod Serling’s voice) because they don’t pay to have enough staff to have someone always available. My last three times here there’s been nobody inside, and I needed to wait or even walk back into the staff area to find someone.
The good news is that they have tons of pumps and there is no waiting. Perhaps because nobody can afford to go there.
It’s that rare combination of overpriced and too cheap to staff properly that makes every experience here very special. Learn from my repeated experience and find the nearest station that isn’t this one.

Do NOT use this has station. Not because their process are .50 higher than anyone near them. It’s because when you put your card in it doesn’t ask you for your zip code. Meaning you can use any card even if it’s not yours.
