Specialties
Myofascial Release massage (MFR), is not your «regular massage!» A safe and effective manual therapy, MFR is ideal for Chronic Pain and Restricted Mobility. My sessions are personalized to a client’s needs, and are often described as both Gentle, Intense, Therapeutic, and more Effective than «normal» Deep Tissue. Focusing on immediate pain relief AND long-term structural changes, I encourage clients to actively participate in their own healing with in-session guidance, posture awareness, and home-treatment suggestions.

History
Established in 2006.
While I studied and practiced massage therapy in 1998, it was primarily part of my personal, healing journey; from a variety of accidents, sports injuries, and un-diagnosable pains. After working with a few Rolfers, Myofascial therapists, and Osteopaths to heal my own body; and taking some advanced courses in 2005, I came to really appreciate and love the exploration, the creativity, the internal validation and connection to myself that I found, in receiving and practicing, therapeutic bodywork. I started practicing again in 2006.
I’ve also just completed 200hr Yoga Training, and plan to further integrate elements of therapeutic Yoga into my treatments.
I commonly treat clients with a broad range of issues, symptoms, and diagnosis; those healing from an accident or other traumas; as well as athletes searching to improve their performance.

I also see clients at locations in North Glendale, and Pasadena.

While I specialize in John Barnes style MFR, I blend techniques from my training in Structural Integration (Rolfing), Myoskeletal Alignment, Neuromuscular Re-Education (PR, PNF/MET), Sports Massage, Cranial-Sacral therapy, the Psychology of Anatomy and Movement, Energy Medicine, and even Iyengar inspired Yoga. I continue to evolve my learning and my practice; keeping an open mind and exploring the body’s healing potential with a East-meets-West belief system.
