They might be good but it seems that they only take appointments from certain doctors. I called to make an appointment and spoke to one girl, she told me that I could make an appointment but the right person would call me back.
Some other girl did call me back a few minutes later and everything seemed to be going well until she asked me the name of my doctor. She then told me that they were all booked and were not accepting new patients. Hmm, why didn’t she tell me that from the start? Why waste people’s time? I feel like she was lying. Based on my initial conversation with the girl, I have a feeling that they did have some openings but were saving them for their favorite doctors. Nothing wrong with that, but don’t lie about it.
I understand that they are small, but if they are as good as people claim and they are as busy, any business owner in her/​his right mind would want to expand the business. May be it’s time to look for a bigger place or open a second office. But what do I know, may me she/​he feels that she makes enough money.

A wonderful find! A small and intimate studio with the kindest staff. Debra is simply the best! Easy, free parking. The studio is light and bright and super clean! Debra took care of my daughter after an intense car accident and now she is helping my son after his torn Achilles surgery. A jewel PT spot in the valley!

Mckenzie fixed me! I went to Lifestyle for some nagging shoulder pain that was starting to interfere with my daily activities. From the moment I first called, I knew I had chosen the right place — their awesome assistant Goli was efficient and funny and scheduled me right up.
Mckenzie is the best — she really knows her stuff! She diagnosed my issue — apparently being hunched over a computer all day isn’t so great for you (whoops). She taught me exercises and stretches and pushed me over time until I had built up the supporting muscles and the pain was gone! Now I’m able to do all the stuff I couldn’t before and (bonus!) my posture is slightly less like Quasimodo.
Lifestyle has a great, relaxed atmosphere where you can joke around while doing the hard work required to get better. Their therapy aide Monica is great, too — she’s a taskmaster but fun and sweet. And Goli also sends out reminder emails for all your appointments which is super helpful if you have a horrible memory like me. Can’t say enough good things. Get injured so you can go here!

I became a patient at Lifestyle because I wasn’t getting results at another PT business in Sherman Oaks. I had been going to the therapy business in Sherman oaks for a long time. But I felt their treatment of my back issue fell short and I wasn’t getting any relief after going there for 6 months for my back problems and my condition was getting worse. Both orthopedists I have seen for this condition have stated surgery is my only option. My Mother had three unsuccessful back surgeries including a spinal fusion, I am doing everything I can to avoid surgery. Nothing can cure what’s wrong with my back, but I do believe that physical therapy can offer a great amount of pain relief if it’s done by the right therapist at the right business.
I found out in February that I need a spinal fusion at L4-​L5. I was expericing horrible scitica and couldn’t even bend down without pain. When I did bend down I wasn’t able to get back up because of the extreme pain I was suffering from the sciatica. I would end up at a 45° angle until I could find somewhere to sit down. I wasn’t getting results at my prior therapy location so I decided I needed to look for a new therapist. While I am not a doctor, I am familiar with medicine as my Father was a doctor.
I knew Monica (thank you Monica for this referral!!!), the aid at Lifestyle, and she suggested I contact Debra and discuss what was going on with my back. I spoke to Debra and she was very kind, informative, professional and knowledgable. She felt she and her facility could help me.
I made my appointments with Goli and my first session was with McKenzie, the physical therapist. She took an extensive history, did a thorough examination, listened to my concerns, went over my MRI results with me. She started me on various exercises. Even though she may be working with another patient while I am working with Monica doing my exercises, McKenzie is always checking on me to see if I am ok, and is very concerned if I am having any pain doing the exercises. She also is concerned whether I had and pain or discomfort after my treatments. She pays close attention to her all her patients and really gives you a personalized approach to helping you get well. At my last therapy location I pretty much was doing the exercises on my own with the aid, and had 10 minutes of time with the therapist. That is not how things are done at Lifestyle. The care is extremely professional, caring, highly effective, and personalized. I am not just a number here. McKenzie, Debra, and Monica really care about how I am doing. I am always greeted with a big smile and a welcome by Goli as well as Debra, Monica and McKenzie.
In the 6 months of treatment at my other location, I never had any pain relief. After 3 sessions with McKenzie where she does extensive manipulation (for longer than 10 minutes), stretches, and massage, I have finally experienced relief. I am finally feeling better, I am walking with less pain, and I am having way less episodes of scitica when I bend down. I was quite surprised to experience pain relief so quickly. But I have. I am really grateful and thankful for the pain relief that I receive from working with McKenzie. She is extremely caring, knowledgable, patient, calm, confident and a very effective and professional therapist. She introduces new exercises into my routine to help me strengthen my core to improve my condition. McKenzie tailors my sessions to make sure that I receive maximum benefit from the exercises that she has me do. She really has a vested interest in helping her patients get well and live a more productive life without paIn. Monica is a highly experienced and knowledgable aide and is extremely helpful in making sure I do my exercises correctly so I gain the maximum benefit.
Lifestyle is clean, highly organized, has great new equipment, recumbent bike, treadmill, hand bike, and balance board, elipical, new bands, weights, ultrasound equipment, a light treatment that I have never seen before but I have heard patients say it’s very effective. It is a boutique physical therapy practice that offers a highly personalized approach to a patients well being and welfare. They are truly dedicated heathcare business that offers very effective and great care to their patients.
I highly recommend Lifestyle for your physical therapy needs.

Can’t say enough about Debra and her phenomenal team. Debra gives excellent one on one attention to all her patients & supplies her patients great exercises for fast recovery and a typical session includes: massage of the problem area, supervised and targeted exercises for recovery and strengthening and ice. I would highly recommend Debra & her professional/​phenomenal staff to anyone looking for PT! Oh, also very CLEAN facilities, new technology, and very hands on therapy! Life Style Physical Therapy and Debra met all my expectations (and more). I began seeing Debra after a series of epidurals for a bulging disc in my spine did not improve my pain level. She took the time to get to know my case and truly personalize my treatment. This included identifying the cause of my pain and working on long term solutions such as my daily posture and positioning at my desk. She put me at ease right from the start by acknowledging my busy schedule, and reassuring me that we were going to get me out of physical therapy as soon as I was ready. The facility is spotless, organized and so efficiently run (perfect fit for my Type-​A personality). I was very impressed with the way the therapists accommodated treatment for people of all ages, including children. It is an intimate facility where the attention you get is fabulous, versus a larger place where one feels like they not getting their needs differentiated. The work Debra has done with me has improved my condition immensely and I am back to my active self again! Additionally, the exercises she designed for me are ones I will continue to use in the future. I highly recommend Lifestyle Physical Therapy. I was very excited to officially «graduate» (as they call it) from PT this week, but I will actually miss it!

After a bad Achilles injury I was pretty discouraged until my Dr. sent me to Debra at Lifestyle Physical Therapy. From my first visit I was impressed. The place was always spotless and clean. They were very accommodating with my hectic schedule. And the service I received from them was very personal; never felt like I was just «another» patient. After a couple of months, my Achilles is not only healed but stronger. The exercises Debra gave me are simple enough that I keep doing them today. I highly recommend this place. I was in a car accident in January and have been working with another company for months with very little recovery. Within two weeks of going to Debra at Lifestyle Physical Therapy, I started to feel better and can see that I will recover in no time! I strongly recommend them. This is the best place I have been for physical therapy (my third attempt at finding someone I liked and who helped me). I have been suffering for a few years with neck, shoulder, and back pain. I recently got a cervical epidural which helped alleviate the pain, but my doctor also prescribed PT after the procedure. This is when I met Debra. She is incredibly nice, communicative, and seems to really care about her patients. I feel less pain and feel stronger after having worked with her for about a month and a half. Her support staff is also great! I never had any problems with scheduling, and Debra even let me work out a little extra on some of the machines so that I could save time and not have to go to the gym on days that I was seeing her. I’m currently discharged and working on my exercises at home, haven’t had any issues, but I know that I could go back to Debra if I needed to. Highly recommended.

They actually care about you here, which is more than I can say about other places I’ve been. Very personalized. Debra is terrific and positive, and the environment is great. I couldn’t have picked better. If you happen to have an injury that requires physical therapy, I’d be very surprised if you weren’t completely satisfied with your experience here.

I was diagnosed with cervical disc disease which has been causing me a great deal of pain in my neck and shoulder for a couple of months now. Debra has given me hope! She took the time to find out exactly what was going on with my body and after my first visit I already feel some relief. She was booked up when I called but Kelly was so sweet on the phone and called my back the next day with a cancellation! Debra is very hands on and gave me some great and simple exercises to do at home as well as I am so ready to feel good again!
I look so forward to my next appointment. And if there is a wait to get in, it’s worth the wait!

Same experience as Geri F. Called on Thursday August 27^th. Was told the owner was on vacation but someone would call me back the next day. Today is September 1 and no call back. Not a good first impression. I told the woman who answered the telephone I was insured by Aetna which they take. Maybe they give preference to cash patients. Or, maybe they’re just rude. Regardless, I’ll go elsewhere where my business is appreciated.

This place is awesome. I am recovering from my second ACL surgery and was looking everywhere for the right therapist. Thank god I found Debra, she is very hands on, and her team really knows what they are doing. The place is very clean and there is plenty of parking.

How disappointing… I called to make an appointment and they seemed eager to get me in until I gave them the reason why I needed PT, history of Lupus and Fibromyalgia, weakness of the legs after a biopsy and lots of pain. They put me on hold and the «therapist» got in the phone to say she was going on vacation and wouldn’t be able to take me for long time. Awkward… I truly felt they refused me because of the health issues. I’ve never felt this way, truly uncomfortable. I mean do they have only ONE therapist? no they do not.
This is my first negative review and I’m writing it with tears in my eyes.

After a bad fall, I went to Physical Therapy as a last resort — I had been miserable and in pain for so long, I doubted that it would help but willing to give anything a try.
However, after just a few visits with Debra and her girls, I was MUCH better and looked forward to each coming appointment. It was so rewarding to barely be able to limp into the facility and to easily walk out an hour later!
The exercises Debra gave me were simple enough for me to do myself at home, but I would not have come up with the ones she taught me. I still do them while watching TV and during any free moments.
Thanks so much, Debra! I hope I don’t need you again, but if I do, I will be at your door.

David at Lifestyle provided therapy during my recovery from rotator cuff surgery. He performed several stretches and other mobility moves, and progressed me through several exercises until I was doing about 20 different ones. I have regained strength and mobility in the arm.
Debra and David and the entire staff are very warm and friendly. They were flexible with appointments and I was able to come in on some evenings and Saturdays. I was very pleased with the care I received at Lifestyle, and was almost disappointed when my therapy ended and I did not have to come in any more! If you have to get physical therapy, I would wholeheartedly recommend the team at Lifestyle.

After having ACL reconstruction I was eager but very scared to attend physical therapy. This surgery was the first medical procedure I’ve had and I was being told physical therapy was excruciating. After doing a lot of research on facilities I came across Lifestyle Physical Therapy. I am so thankful that I was able to come here for my rehab.
Debra is amazing! She makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The whole staff is just a pleasure to work with. I always had at least an aide close by checking my form and helping me. I was afraid that it would be painful but the way Debra works is slow and steady.
Today is my last day and I’m pretty sad about it. When you walk in to this place you know and feel that they care and the sessions always fly by. I’ve also seen a good amount of children here and they are great with them as well! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I love this place! I shattered my elbow in October and thanks David’s hard work and Debra and the entire staff’s good cheer, I graduated this week good as new! I highly recommend Lifestyle PT to anyone with any kind of injury.

The incident (or injury) happened 4 months ago. After doing a MRI, got to know that there was some kind of bulge between L4-​L5 and the spine specialist recommended me for some physical therapy sessions 2 times a week for 6 weeks. I always had a feeling of discomfort after sitting for too long or standing for too long. I guess I knew it’s time for PT. Found this place and tried it out, Debra and her team are just awesome! Highly knowledgable, give you a structured plan (exercise positions with their diagrams) to follow. You get the feeling that they just know what they are doing! After like 6 classes in less than 4 weeks I «graduated» according to Debra. I’m really glad I went here and would undoubtedly recommend anyone who needs Physical therapy. Now I just need to keep continuing my exercises on my own.

I have been going to Lifestyle Physical Therapy for a few months and I can not be happier with my experience here. Debra is extremely knowledgeable and I trust her judgment and opinion immensely.
