As a local on-​the-​go professional, I don’t have a lot of time to wait in line at the Apple store surrounded by hoards of other people with their Mac problems. There’s nothing more irritating than waiting in line to get a diagnostic on a product that I know is broken and needs repair.
Recently, my iPhone stopped holding a charge and it looked like I just needed to replace the battery. Unfortunately, the phone was out of warranty and the replacement was pricey. I went through the reviews on Unilocal and found Mac Magicians. I gave them a call and not only was I greeted by someone who was extremely knowledgeable about Apple’s products but also someone who had lengthy experience working at a number of the flagship Apple stores.
Ben was terrific, and he helped me understand the whole process of the repair and the turnaround time required to get the replacement battery. Amazingly, I was only left an evening without a phone – which is really hard to do these days – but when I did get the phone back, good as new! I also want to mention that I was really happy about knowing the amount of work needed in advance so that I could plan on when Ben could have the work done. In this case, evenings were the best time for me to go sans phone, and Ben went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule.
I’d definitely call Mac Magicians again for all my Mac and iPhone issues, they really are top-​notch and great people to work with!

Mac Magicians are amazing! Trust me, these guys are the real geniuses. There I was with a decade old G4 Cube, a new processor, a manual the size of a small country and no idea what to do with any of them. Ben took all of the above, turned them into my 2gig Cube (which runs beautifully), installed any and and all software I needed and has continued to provide all Mac-​related services since then. Ben was completely on it from the moment I contacted him, and the guy even checks in with me months later just to make sure everything is still running well! Fast service, unsurpassed knowledge and a complete commitment to their clients. Mac Magicians — there is no one better. Love these guys.
