I went on groupon to get a brazilian wax and Azita is amazing! She was very friendly and welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. Brazilian waxing is a very intimate thing so comfort is key. She was very gentle and I have sensitive skin and a very low pain tolerance and she tried to make it as less painful as possible. She talked to me the whole time. She also got every single hair so I was pretty happy with the results afterwards. I suggest going to her if you want to get a groupon for Brazilian waxing. :)

I have known Azita for many years and even though I was sad for her when Manijeh Hair Studio closed, I was happy that Azita decided to come and join me at CC Skincare. She has been my trusted waxer for the last 20 years and now I have the pleasure to work with her.

Came here after buying a Groupon for a Brazilian wax. The waxist was very nice and kind enough to schedule me for a wax the same day. She was really sweet and lightly talkative and did a good job in record time. If you’re in the need of a really affordable Brazilian wax, I’d recommend coming here.

i bought a groupon for a brazilian wax here and i was very pleased. i made an appointment about a week in advance (but i probably could have just walked in). the lady at the front desk was very nice and took me back right away. she was super quick and informative with the procedure. i was in and out in probably under twenty minutes. she informed me of how cheap the procedure would be without the groupon for next time i was pleasantly surprised. will def be back.

I bought a groupon for this place for a brazilian wax, called the same day, and the owner was nice enough to agree to see me the same day.
However, when I got there, and I guess she saw my skin color, she did not want to provide me the services she promised.
She told me she did not want to wax me and I should come back in 3days. And even after I had an appointment and there were no other customers in front of me, she told me she had other customers coming and could not see me.
They are plain RACIST and their customer services sucks, they literally kicked me out of the salon – she said «no» «no» «no» I can’t do your brazilian, even if there were ZERO customers on a saturday.
I called group on, reported this company. Groupon refunded my money ASAP.
If you are a person of color, I would suggest you avoid this place.

Wow I was SHOCKED to see a bad review for Azita. I have been going to see her for years now. Even when I moved from the area to the west side I traveled back to Azita because I could never find anyone who matched her skill. She is an expert at eyebrow shaping and (unlike other places) she adeptly removes all of the hair through to the root. I have very thick, problematic hair and Azita works magic every time (in all areas)! She is also AMAZINGLY sweet. I bring my two year old, hand him a treat and Azita is fine with him sitting in his stroller in the room and helps me keep him amused during my service. The other fabulous thing about Azita is her pricing. I’ve paid 4 times as much for the same service on the west side (at very well known, high-​end spas) and not gotten nearly as nice the result. It’s another reason I love Azita! There are very few times in life that you find THE BEST service at THE BEST price. I have no idea what went wrong with the bad review, all I know is that I have been seeing Azita for just about a decade now, very frequently and LOVE HER.

I’ve been going to Azita for full leg and brazilian waxing for 13 years now. She is absolutley wonderful. She is fast, but does an amazing job. She is always very pleasant. I’ve tried going to other aestheticians, but I always end up coming back to her.

I have been going to Mimi for about 7 years for my hair, and to Azita for my waxing needs… I don’t trust anyone else… they are the best at what they do!

If you are even considering the Brazilian Blow out, you must try Manijeh Hair Studio in Studio City. I’ve been coming here for years for waxing with Azita. Azita is amazing and very fairly priced. I guess I never thought about getting my hair done until Manijeh suggested I try the Brazilian Blow out because I have very frizzy and curly hair. My first reaction was «no way, I don’t want chemicals burning my scalp» plus I also believed the treatment just would not work.
OHH– LET ME TELL YOU HOW WRONG I WAS!
I LOVE and ADORE my BLOWOUT AND CONSIDER IT THE BEST $$ SPENT. First off, Manijeh is excellent! She has many years of experience working with hair and really knows what she is doing. She did a terrific job on me. This process takes a while (about three hours) and she took her time and did a superb job. I also had her cut my ends and couldn’t be more pleased. The cost was also far less than what I had heard and in my opinion very reasonable.
I ended up purchasing the shampoo, conditioner and leave in serum and am happy I did. You should too, as I think it makes your blowout look better. My friend did the process in the south bay area and bought another sulfate free shampoo and her results are not nearly as nice as my results. The products are a bit pricey, but clearly it’s worth it and they do last a fair amount of time.
I did this process in June 2010 and my hair is still straight. Everyone comments on how healthy my hair looks. Note: I was never the girl who got complimented for hair until now.
The results are still perfect. I know I need to go in for a touch up in October or November, but when I look at before and after pictures I almost can’t believe my eyes. Now, when it’s humid, I’m not the one with the frizzy horrible hair. If you have ever suffered with hot flat irons, hours of blow drying, burns, expensive and useless serums and gels, then this is your best solution. I highly recommend this salon as you will get the best service.

I ONLY trust Azita to give me a Brazilian wax. I’ve been going to Manijeh to get waxed for five years now and I’m literally never disappointed. I’ve been to a few other places here and there (only if I’m not in town) and something always goes wrong (either it’s too expensive, I’m just not comfortable with the woman, or they don’t remove enough hair). I like to leave a landing strip but I want every other stray hair to be removed and Azita definitely takes care of this. If the wax doesn’t get the stubborn ones, she’ll bust out her tweezers. I went based on the recommendation of a bartender who I used to work with and I’m so glad I listened to her because I don’t know what I’d do if I’d never found Azita! It’s also the best deal in town for what she does. Other places charge double what she does. Don’t be fooled by the modest salon or the weird location (it’s in a strip mall). It’s a little gem of a place. I don’t write reviews very often but Azita deserves it — she’s absolutely the best!

As far as I know, Persians are great at 3 things: food, rugs, and hair removal. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my sensitive parts. This place doesn’t break the bank either.
