I absolutely love Lucy and her treatment. My skin looks amaze, and the service is the best.

Lucy is one of the best estheticians I’ve ever been to. She is super knowledgeable and really gentle with your skin. I initially went to see her with a groupon. She’s very easy to talk to and helped diagnose my problem skin. She worked with my skin to get it picture perfect for my wedding and has become my favorite go to visit when looking for a relaxed, calm and invigorating experience. It has been over 3 years since I’ve thought of going to anyone else. Love her and love her work!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Lucy. I first came to Lucy about a year ago, after a change in hormones and extensive traveling culminated in an unprecedented level of breakouts on my face. With time, Lucy’s advice and miracle facials started to restore my skin, and I started feeling more confident about my appearances. Lucy is extremely thorough with her extractions, and I swear by her facial oil/​serum (I’m obsessed with her product and cannot go without it anymore). The other thing that I loved about Lucy was that although she has her own products, she will never push them onto you unlike other places might, which made me feel much more comfortable with her. Lastly, not only is Lucy great at what she does, but she is also the sweetest person you’ll meet. Highly recommended!

This review is long over due. I have been going to Lucy for a little over a year and for someone with persistent hormonal/stress-induced/can’t eat any cheese ever acne she is like my fairy godmother with her little wand of Microderm. Between her peels, oxygen masks, LED light therapy and other gadgets my skin always looks & feels like new. Her extractions are thorough but fast enough to make you not want to kill her. She’s very genuine and has become a friend to me, I hope to continue to see her monthly until I’m 80 but look like 40.

I just left my appointment with Lucy. My skin feels so refreshed and I’m glowing so hard! I had a few treatments done including microdermabrasion and led light therapy. The whole experience was relaxing and she is very gentle and thorough. She is so appreciative of your business and unlike other places, the appointment does not end with a hard sell on the products used. I will be booking my next appointment sooner than later, and those of you reading these reviews would be wise to do the same! I love Lucy!
Also since this is LA, I find it important to mention parking. NOT a problem. Plenty of parking on Ventura, and 2 hr street parking on the street behind the salon.

Lucy is fantastic! I have seen her twice, and I highly recommend her for facials and peels. She is located in a small, quiet studio above a salon, so do not expect this to be a spa. DO, however, expect excellent and gentle skin care without the annoying steam machine and without the hard salesman tactics. (I appreciate that last point so much — other places try to sell you on a completely new regimen. Lucy, on the other hand, makes rational recommendations on how to improve upon what you are doing.) She performed lots of extractions and a microdermabrasion, and I walked away with virtually no redness. I have noticed that even days after the treatment my skin glowed. To top it off, she is also extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I trust her completely!

I found Lucy’s skincare services through Lifebooker, and have been very pleased so far! I go every month for a facial with her and have seen significant improvement’s in my skins texture — reduction in acne and less visible scars. She is extremely thorough and takes her time with you. I’ve never felt rushed during my session with her. Not only are her services great, but she is such an incredibly sweet and pleasant individual! She makes you feel very at ease, and has a natural way of connecting with her clients. Love her, and will continue to go back to her every month!

I met Lucy from a Lifebooker deal and she is just great… My skin is always glowing after I see her… I get a facial, microdermabrasion, and glycolic peel… She does some extras on my skin as well and sells great products that aren’t pricey… She is sweet, takes direction well and is caring in a cute salon/​spa. She does book up quickly so make sure you call a week in advance.

I bought a Lifebooker deal for a Microdermabrasion and Peel. It was the worst facial I have ever had. She greeted me in a normal voice tone, but I think when you work in a spa setting, your voice should be just above a whisper, as to begin the calming process. The facial itself lasted just a bit over 30 minutes, and I have NEVER had a facial last less than an hour. She never described any of the products she used on me (unless I asked), so at the end, while she is slathering on lotions, I had no idea what each of them were. She also did not give any of them time to sink in before using the next. She never put any eye cream or lip balm on me, either. As well, she never touched my neck nor chest area. Every other facial I have ever gotten those two areas were a part of the treatment. As for the actual microdermabrasion, I felt it was rushed. Overall, I saw ZERO difference in my skin afterwards. I could have, and do, do a better job at home.
Even for the Lifebooker price I think I WAY overpaid. I wish I wouldn’t have left a tip at all. Horrible.

Piel by Lucy is very soothing and relaxing. it was my first time and was scared that I might have some bad reaction to anything that she would put on my face. I got there and I asked a lady who happened to be Lucy. She gave me a great microdermabrasion and peel. I usually have sensitive skin but didnt have any bad reactions to it. She explains everything that she does to your face and what she puts on. I forgot my phone at work so I couldnt give her my loot. It was no problem for her. She just asked my for name and searched it. She is very sweet and nice. And she told me that i have eczema and skin tag which I thought I had really dry skin and acne scars all along. So now I just made an appointment with my doctor so I can get a referral to a dermatologist. I will definitely go back to Lucy. :)

DO NOT BUY LIFEBOOKER WITHOUT READING FINE PRINT. I bought a service to Piel by Lucy on LIFEBOOKER. Lucy basically denied me service because according to her I had rescheduled «one too many times». When I asked for a credit to be applied to any regular service she offers, said she did not have to do that and said to take it up with LIFEBOOKER according to their terms. They apparently have in their terms and services agreement that if you do not cancel completely within 10 days, you cannot return «the loot». Basically unlike Groupon, they do not protect the customer whatsoever! BEWARE. She rarely answers her phone and does NOT call the day before to confirm appointments. Shady much?

If you want the best quality skin treatment/​healing in LA and one that happens to be provided by a skilled esthetician with years of experience in the field (and who is an excellent person in general) then look no further. Piel by Lucy is the best facial/​skin treatment I’ve experienced in my life — no exaggeration. And that’s saying a lot for me because I’ve struggled with hormonal acne and scarring for the last 10 years.
Going to Lucy and having her work on my condition has done more for its progress and healing than what years of dermatology, two rounds of Accutane, and numerous facial specialists have promised to deliver, but ultimately could not. She not only works on the topical aspect, but also works to help clients like me heal their skin from the «inside out» (or through «preventative, proactive action») by identifying triggers in diet and lifestyle that can cause flare ups and other skin conditions and then suggesting specific, scientifically supported changes in order to achieve improvement and to stop the cycle from continuing. I have followed her advice and my skin is much healthier and is noticeably clearer than when I first began. Also, I now have strong reasons to eat healthier and am seeing awesome results in my entire body because of it.
Like other reviewers have said: you will see great results in one session, but continual sessions/​skin maintenance appointments are definitely a sound choice if you want to build on those results and see even more gradual, amazing improvements. I’ve been using the Piel services for almost 7 months now and am very satisfied with my progression and will continue to trust Lucy with my complicated skin.
With all that in mind, I can honestly and whole heartedly recommend Piel by Lucy to friends and strangers alike. Lucy is the best, and you will be more than satisfied.

This review has been a long time coming. I had a facial with Lucy a while ago and she is one of the sweetest estheticians out there. If you let her know it’s your first facial (or that you haven’t had many done), she will let you know what she’s putting on your face. So many people don’t do that, so I really appreciated it!
Also, the quality of her products are very good. Days after the faciai, my face still felt clean. This is definitely a treat for myself since the services are pretty expensive, but having done one facial, I realize why. Thanks Lucy!

Lucy is a good friend and businesswoman. She takes care of her clients and always makes sure her clients are satisfied 120%. I’m a guy who had acne scarring and also a few stitches on my left cheek. I told her I wanted clear skin and her recommendation was to start with the lowest level of glycolic acid (to build up your skin to the strongest level) and microdermabrasion to get rid of my scarring. After about 6 treatments, I can honestly say my goal of having clear skin was a success! I have been complimented on my skin several times. It is important to note that if you also want clear skin, it takes more than just 1 – 2 treatments. I highly recommend Lucy for achieving the clear skin look that you sooo desire! :)

I got the diamond and oxygen peel with microdermabrasion AND the red light therapy. I’ve never really had problem skin, but after my facial with Lucy I got tons of compliments! I can’t wait to see her again. Thank you Lucy!
