The Big Easy

Had some time to kill and stumbled across The Big Easy. Can’t say enough about the hospitality, it was great. Nice broad range of sticks ended up walking out with a few I had not tried before. Thanks again to the staff for their help and welcoming attitude.

Disappointed to know this place is out of business.
Good thing about a mile away there’s cigar warehouse lounge.

A bohemian creative warm man cave that welcomes the most novice of Cigar Smokers to the experienced. The word Gem is overused these days, but this place is truly one of those you selfishly want to stay hidden so you can enjoy. That is until you realize you were the last to find out.
There is a warm coziness about this place could give the hippest coffee shop a run for its money. The owner Eric and his staff have created cool atmosphere that the most novice of smokers to the serious regulars can blend together and chill and escape the problems of the day if not for a few hours.
Great walk in humidor that any staff member will walk you through and help you with any of your smoking needs. You will always be greeted by strangers and have places to sit to be alone in a packed room if that’s what you choose. You don’t have to belong to a cigar club or be a celebrity to feel like you belong. This place is worth the drive.

Dropped by today for the first time. It was obvious that I had some money to spend — but also obvious that I was a fairly newbie.
The dude here walked me through the humidor. He didn’t talk down to me or try to sell me only the high dollar sticks. He followed what I told him I was after and offered selections at all price levels.
I also was looking to add to my lighter collection, but when they didn’t have the exact lighter I was looking for, he didn’t try to redirect me to the 50 lighters he had, he simply said they had others and that he would be happy to order the one I desired the next day if I wanted him to do so.
Huge selection, great service and a super comfortable environment. Would revisit anytime and recommend to all.

The Big Easy Cigars on Ventura Blvd, in Studio City, is simply the Mecca of all cigar shops. Any time i walk in there, I am greeted by Eric or Taylor who are the royal ambassadors to the good life! (These Guys live Cigars!)*

Their selection of the most sought after top cigars from the pages of Cigar Afficianado, is easily the best selection in all of California. Their massive walk in humidor contains only the best cigars money can buy. This shop always transports me back to my childhood days, and puts me in a great mood every time I roll by!
— The vibe is vintage Americana meets tobacco nirvana. The smoking lounge where JFK or Castro would be hanging out puffing on Padrons in style…

This is my new favorite place to get pipe tobacco. Their best seller, I believe it’s called La Fitte is a great blend. And for $ 4 an ounce, it last me two weeks! The décor is really laid back. A total man-​cave.
You can also go next door to the pizza joint, get a slice or sub. Or Frogger across Ventura to Carney’s. Don’t worry about stuffing your face with that slop, by the time you get back across you’d have soiled yourself due to the idiots who tear around that corner like it’s the Autobahn (locals will know what I’m talking about).

Open till 11pm on a Friday, great recommendations, awesome atmosphere and cool people.

The décor is surprisingly eclectic with an old time cigar-​bar appeal. This is the Bull & Finch of smoking establishments in Studio City. No one knows anyone’s real name and I like it.
Very friendly and unassuming folks. You will be welcomed. Just tone down the «hipsterness» please.

So happy I found these guys in walking distance from my hotel. Just what I needed after a day at the grind. Great viby, mature atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and welcoming — Steve, the owner, was especially a great hang! Stick selection is top notch.

Recently, I started enjoying a good pipe smoke in the evening. After checking out a few smoke shops in my area I had almost given up on anyone having a decent selection of pipe tobacco and accessories. Luckily, I found The Big Easy. This place is right up my alley. Everything to the décor, the feel, selection and service. What’s that word? Service? Yes, Service. This was the first time someone actually took the time to talk to me, listen to my questions and give me some good feedback. Thanks Taylor. I Picked up a shank brush and a tin of Dunhill Night Cap. Looking forward to when I have to time to go in and have a smoke.

I’ve been looking for a one stop cigar shop for a while, I live a good 25min’s away and can say this was well worth the drive. I took my brother with me and was greeted as soon as we walk in. Great customer service, I’m pretty new to cigar smoking and was pointed at some great cigars and wasn’t trying to over sell me, gave me great honest opinions on brands and levels of cigars. That’s what u wanna see one on one help, great attitude. Ill be coming back! And enjoyed the Fathers Cigar last night great recommendation

The Big Easy, A Cigar Sanctuary, is one of the cigar lounges I frequent. I was in a few days ago, and the owner Eric was breakin’ my balls a bit because of a good review I gave to another cigar lounge, lol.
So as atonement to Eric, I want to let everyone know that The Big Easy is one of my favorite cigar lounges, for the following reasons: good selection, fair prices, and great hours. The Big Easy is the only cigar lounge I know of that keeps really late hours. That’s great for me, ’cause usually I tend to go to lounges in the evening.

What a bro’s haven. A man’s cave. The outlaw’s hideaway.
After a long day of work and sushi, my two friends and I partook in some Partagas (and the like) at the Big Easy. Still one of the coolest places to have a smoke at night, yes I do still love my other cigar lounge, but that is for the day and this… THIS is for the night. They let you bring your own soda and pop in and all you hear is talk about sports, cars, women, movies and business. If this place was twice as big it would make it compete (well that and if they could serve spirits served by models).
They used to have a TV there, but I like it a lot better without it because not everyone wants to watch the same game, or even likes football or baseball. So this was a pleasant surprise.
They’re always getting new cigars in which you can find on their website.
Also their clientele are from near and far, no average age, color or creed. Just everyone sitting enjoying one of lives greatest pleasures, a cigar.

Great place to sit and have a smoke. Located next to a pizza place and across the street from a deli. I knocked off one star for being very smokey. The ventilation is not very good here.
Medium sized selection of cigars. You’re going to find something that you like. They get all the Tatuaje cigars first and they are an official Opus X dealer. The prices are reasonable.
Friendly staff and patrons. You can sit and relax for hours… I’ve done it myself.

Great smokes, great décor and pretty good selection. I love the way the place is decorated. It has an old world Cuban style layout with relaxing warm colors. I’ll come here when I crave a good cigar without the headache of irritating customers.
Parking can be a pain if the spots are taken but there usually is a few spots available. Great place to come and have a smoke after eating across the street at Jerry’s Deli.

After a good meal, a cigar is always good company. The art of sitting, smelling, tasting and getting deeply lost in the relationship between you and that carefully chosen tobacco leaf between your fingers. It wont talk back, it wont interrupt, it will simply be there to help you relax… I love it.
A friend and I were in need of a cigar, we stopped at some random cigarette, cigar shop. As I walked in, I noticed one display of what seemed to be what they called cigar inventory, bongs, etc. I refused to purchase anything from a place whose humidor was drier than mine.
I remembered this place, I was about 5 miles away so decided to drive there. As soon as I walk in to The Big Easy, mmmmm… smell that, that is the smell of a true cigar shop. Damp, Dark, couches all around, the Cigar Aficionado magazines for your reading interest. The guy seated in one of the couches minding his business, enjoying the delicatessen he had hand picked for that day, this place is the right spot for me. The prices are reasonable, they have a grand selection, the patrons are friendly, what more can you ask for. I enjoy the smell of a true cigar shop. Each and every time it’s like the first time to me.
I wasn’t able to stay this time, but I’m definitely going back to enjoy a cigar next time with my fellow cigar lovers. The CAO I smoked was perfect to end my day.

Stopped in this weekend for the 1^st time to pick up a Fuente & Montecristo and I was delighted by the Big Easy! They have a great selection of pretty much every brand of cigars. Lots of other smoking accessories as well.
The store feels real damp right when you walk in which is bomb! The humidor is pretty big and the staff was really nice and helpful. There are leather couches and chairs there if you wanna chill and smoke, which i plan to do in the near future.
Reasonably priced cigars with throwback ambiance and décor. I’ll gladly be patronizing this establishment often!
