I ordered via eat24 and the food was delivered on time, but the quality of food was pretty bad. I ordered stuffed grape leaves that ended up in trash can and the baba ghanoosh was meh and didn’t seem fresh.

My new favorite delivery option. Omg I assumed ordering a salad it would come and I would eat it and then be done. The salad I ordered was the kale grain salad with tuna and it is big enough to feed 4. Sooooo good and all the ingredients fresh ! I just wish I had someone to share it with. They also sent me a free biscotti with my order. So nice !

Stopped in for a small snack of something healthy. Met the owner (1⁄3) Kathy who is a very sweet person. She does all the cooking and she explained the hot foods and cold. We shared Spanish chicken over rice. The flavor was wonderful with a soupy sauce that had a back kick of heat. We also go 2 grape leaves and one of the homemade chicken tamales. Tamale was delicious and not dry. Grape leaves were wonderful. I gave this 5 stars for the cleanliness, the food, and the fact that it is homemade daily. The owners are wonderful and I hope they are very successful. Way better than Lemonade. All the salads at Lemonade taste premade. Sorry but, this just tasted like home. Fresh, healthy and clean. I can’t wait to go back for soup but, the weather is going to have to cool down.

Love this place! I had the chicken vegetable soup which I thought would be a not so exciting dinner but it ended up being incredibly flavorful, fresh and delicious. Really an elevated soup experience. The salad was fresh and the dressing was so delicious. Wonderful customer service. Really felt the personal touches. Looking forward to going back.

What a great place, stopped in today and had thee best baba ganosh (something I don’t normally like) I had it for lunch and bought more to go. It was that good. Sauerkraut was amazing and the balsamic vin. The owners were so sweet, he helped me pick out beverages and they have fresh coconuts! Yes!

Cute place! I stopped by for the first time today to try out the salad bar. They have a few vegan and vegetarian options along with some meat options. At $ 8.99 a pound for the salad bar it is the same as whole foods in price and high quality. There is friendly service and the owner? Gave me some orange blossom water to try while shopping. Overall, a cute place with space to eat while shopping on Ventura blvd.

Amazing home cooked salad bar with a wide variety of dishes. Kathy the owner and chef extraordinaire personally greeted me and was able to tell me which dishes had dairy or nuts. To my surprise there was SO much to choose from!
Is there anything better than fresh, organic, home made food?
On a quick look through the store I saw a lot of my favorite vegan brands in stock.
I will definitely recommend The Grain and the Greens to all of my friends!
