We started out with a pretty low opinion of real estate agents – not having had all that great an experience with them in the past. Todd changed our minds. In looking for an agent to sell our house, we interviewed some that seemed impressive, but then we saw review after review of Todd in Angie’s List. He had years of stellar reviews – far more than anyone else.
He was always easy to reach – responding to any text or call right away. We never had to deal with an assistant or minion, we always reached him directly. He responded rapidly to all our questions, and we could always trust his answers. Clearly, the people at Rodeo Realty also think highly of him – they have him train their agents.
He also has a magic real estate agent’s camera lense. By this we mean to say that he brings a background in film production to his work in real estate and with that he brings strong aesthetic skills. When we saw the pictures he took of our house that he used for marketing, each of us thought, «That place looks great! I wish we lived there.» I’m not trying to say that he distorted or misrepresented what our place looked like, it is just that he presented it in its very best light.
If you insist on getting a real estate agent of the demi-​gods, you can choose someone else, but we can’t recommend Todd highly enough.

Honestly, Todd was /​is amazing. I found Todd online and decided to give him a shot seeing as though my wife and I weren’t happy with our current realtor. He literally put these other realtors to shame with his professionalism, availability, responsiveness, and over all quality of service. Along with the fact that Todd was always positive and is a genuinely nice guy, he was attentive to our wants and needs and helped guide us through the entire process of purchasing our home with the least amount of pain possible. TODD — SELLING AGENT:
Todd assisted us with selling our house. He gave us staging advice to make the best 1^st impression. His tips were easy to accomplish, a good use of time, and resources. Also, he assisted us with setting an enticing selling price that would create interest and attract buyers.
He took professional quality pictures that really highlighted the property. Within DAYS of being on the market, we had multiple offers and within a month had sold the property for an amount we were pleased with. We enjoyed working with him so much that we also choose him as our buying agent.
TODD — BUYING AGENT:
All we had to do is send him info on the properties we were interested in and he did EVERYTHING else. Many properties were by appointment only. He did all the contacting and scheduling for viewings. Each day we viewed a multitude of properties all expertly coordinated by Todd. He spent hours driving us from house to house. The hardest thing we had to do was «Hmmm do we like it» and of course «Oh gosh, property is so expensive in LA.» He also provided his helpful insight regarding condition of the properties and neighborhoods we were viewing.
He did all this while still coordinating the sale of our home. This is when we really got to see his multi tasking genius in action. He worked with multiple agents, escrow companies, loan companies seamlessly. Whenever there was any kind of obstacle he always found a way to make things work.
SUMMARY:
This is our 2^nd home buying experience. Todd made our last agent look like an amateur. He is far superior than our previous agent in EVERY way.
Purchasing or selling a home is a complicated, stressfull, time consuming process with lots of paperwork, deadlines, negotiating, etc. but Todd will walk you through everything. He is a wealth of knowledge and will patiently, thoroughly answer all your questions. No matter how many times a day you contact him, he is always available, pleasent and quick to respond. His multi tasking skills are truly impressive. And, everything gets done efficiently and right. Even though, he is such a popular agent you will feel that you have his undivided attention.
We interviewed many agents before we decided upon Todd. Besides his great reviews, and personable matter, he was the agent that most displayed a proficiency with modern resources. Examples: using apps, face timing calls, texting, using «docusign» all which immensely stream lined the process and helped us stay organized.

Todd’s negotiation skills are top notch. He has a way of getting along with people so that conversations open up, and questions and concerns are addressed and resolved. Todd doesn’t react to situations, he responds… he stays present and responds to whatever is on the table. He also has a calming effect on everyone. An example of this occurred when the appraisal on my house came in lower than the agreed upon sales price. It seemed like a big deal at first, but Todd was creative in his negotiating, such that he calmed the sense of challenge with his open minded approach. I think his natural ability to make everyone feel considered, welcomes others into that open and creative mind set too. Todd stayed in communication with me and with the buyer’s agent until everyone felt right about moving forward. As it turned out, I believe everyone got what they wanted.
Kind and Present:
The sale of my house went very fast, and Todd was present every step of the way… even more than I could have imagined. Here’s an example of his kindness and presence… I was out of town and planning to return in time for a termite inspection on my house. Todd was aware of a possible storm were I was staying, and called me to say he’d be there for the inspection if I couldn’t make it back in time. What… he was keeping track of the weather where I was staying? That’s Todd… he goes the extra mile. I felt so supported. What a great feeling!
Pleasure Doing Business:
It was a pleasure doing business with Todd. He’s a great guy, incredibly likable, and my first choice partner for any real estate transaction. I give him my highest recommendation!

I looked up Todd online and watched his fantastic video about how he markets properties for sale. When I called him, he went to look at my condo and gave me a ball park figure of what he thought the property would bring. We decided on the median figure. Got two offers the first day. Within a couple of days we had 5 offers, we made a counter offer, and got our price. Within a month of my calling Todd, the buyers moved into their new home by Christmas, and I had the money in my bank. Todd gave me great advice all the way through. He took pictures, and posted them on line and in the Sunday LA Times real estate section. He handled everything up to the minute. He is friendly, trustworthy, and so easy to work with. When we contacted Todd for the first time, he was actually on vacation. But he still answered his phone and was very professional and friendly to talk to. That just shows that he is available anytime. He answers his phone and email almost all the time unless he is in the meeting or busy with something else, but he will get back to you ASAP. This was the first time we were buying a house so we did not know lot of things regarding home buying process. Todd explained us each and everything very nicely. We have heard that buying a first house could be very stressful but with Todd, we felt that it was a piece of cake. We did not even realize that everything was finished so quickly. Todd was our Realtor during our first home purchase. We first met Todd Jones at an open house for a home he was showing. At this time we were viewing homes on our own and did not have a Realtor. For this home we were very interested, but the timing just wasn’t right for our family. A few months later we were ready to look into the market again. Todd was ready to help. Todd was our real estate agent while we were looking for a home in Los Angeles. He showed us homes within our perameters-​proximity, type, and budget, submitted all offers, answered all questions we had, kept us informed at every step, contacted the other parties when required, and helped us find the home of our dreams.
It went awesome! We were so very lucky to have found Todd. We went through a month of using the wrong agents, trying to find one that was available or even cared about what WE wanted or needed. We wanted a house, not a condo, with a yard, near my husband’s work in a nice neighborhood. Todd was one of the only ones, not trying to tell us we had to buy a condo for the money we could afford. Not only did he get the combination codes needed for access in a timely fashion, he didn’t try and sell us on any home we’d happen to see; he sincerely just wanted to find us a home that we’d be happy in which to live. He also would look at each home with an honest critical eye, not trying to hide flaws but help us find the perfect home.
He also was able to recommend an excellent mortgage broker, Michelle Pelayo, which ended up being a huge favor.
He found the home for us that we eventually purchased. I was very pro-​active in looking, but missed this one, but Todd found it for us. When we decided to make an offer it was a Saturday night. Todd went home, and did an online offer, and we were in place ahead of anyone else that would bid after us as early as that Saturday night – very cool. He worked tirelessly with the bank owned property agents to help get us the repairs that were needed.
It seemed like if I hadn’t spoken with Todd for a couple of days, and wanted to touch base, to see if certain things had been done, when I called, he had already handled whatever it was, and was simply awaiting an answer. We couldn’t have been happier with finding him, and recommend him to everyone we know that looking for a real estate agent.
We ended up, within our price range, finding a 2000 sq. foot home with a yard, near my husband’s work, vaulted ceilings, and an amazing view of the mountains. It is also, in a low crime area in a nice neighborhood – everything we wanted. We also have squirrels that look into the sliding glass doors at us, so cute and awesome.
