Business Owner

Kimberly opened Unleashed L.A. in 2001 after spending years in corporate development and training. Having traveled for almost 5 years straight, she wanted a career where her feet could stay on the ground but her head still in the clouds. Having begun her Pet Sitting career at the early age of 7, she knew this new career was the answer. Spending her days walking dogs, cuddling cats and being your best friend’s best friend has proved to be more rewarding then she ever imagined.

Last review i wrote was deleted for some mysterious reason, so I’ll make this one sort and sweet:
We love Kim and the dedicated team, all of them.
We always use the boarding service for the long out of town periods and the dog sitting service for the short weekend type trips.
Our dogs love them and they are real dog lovers.
I recommend Unleash to any responsible animal lover.

I hired Unleashed LA to watch our cat while I was away for 10 days. Kimberly took good care of our cat and was very prompt and polite. Best of all, she sent regular updates and photos to assure us that all was well. I will definitely use this service again.

Kimberly and her team are true professionals. They are always on time and leave good communication behind whenever they petsit or dog walk for you. They are always leaving report cards on what your dog did on the walk. They even send photos and cute little videos when you are away. They treat your pet as if they were their own. I can’t recommend this service enough. Kimberly has a lot of years of experience and she hires sitters who do too.

At first I thought this was a wonderful company providing such a much needed and appreciated service. But when we are talking about beloved living creatures and suddenly, with no word, communication is shut-​off just as one is planning a vacation, it becomes incomprehensible that Unleashed LA even calls itself a business. Being a busy entertainment industry family in a temporary apartment with 3 dogs, I quickly became dependent upon Kimberly as she appeared to do a good job and was responsive via text messaging. Time came to plan for a trip to Seattle for a wedding, and no replies over a couple of weeks to MULTIPLE texts, phone calls and an email. I literally asked her to PLEASE inform me of her availability. No response. Whatever problem she might have with me or any of my dogs, no response is unacceptable. Beware or be STUCK!

Rather than board our dogs at a kennel while we are OOT, we use Unleashed LA pet visits which keeps our dogs happier and is MUCH more affordable! They did a great job feeding and playing with the dogs and even texted us a picture while they were there! You can tell they care about what they do and are real pros! Thanks guys!

I always knew there were dog walkers, but I’m a cat person I had no idea there was such a service that would check in with my cat. I feel so much better when I have to leave knowing that he’s in good hands that check in and spend some time with him. Great pet people, that really care about the the pets they watch over.
