Been eating here for years! I always get the yellow curry special with extra vegetable no(soy chicken). Love the staff and owner too! They know what I want every time I come in or call for pick-up.

Pretty below mediocre. Had the watered down spice less green curry. Just sad. No spices used in cooking. No seasoning. Thin watery curry no flavor. Rice is dry and expensive!

DELIVERY– Was slow, lots of leaking liquids in the bag, and the food was also hardly hot I had to heat it up. I also recieved a phone call saying they were out of an item. The major bummer was having to drink my coconut water out of a plastic bag… FOOD– Pad thai– Three broccoli, and the noodles were not tasty, it almost had a weird cardboard taste… no life just basic dumbed down noodles. The sauce had a sour taste to it. The dish was terrible! No peanuts on top, no slice of lime… Tom Kha Kai– sooooooo bad, when i opened the container the smell hit me like a tone of bricks. old socks is a good description. The taste was not very different from the smell and it only had mushrooms in it. Ordered the Dinner pad thai with Miso soup. Ordered the pad thai with Vegan chicken, and it tasted actually close to it. The pad thai was missing some serious toppings though — I cannot give this review anything more than a three. Notice almost no bamboo sheets, lime, or any of the other shoots(optional carrots?) No crumbled peanuts? I understand this is the vegan variety, but the aforementioned does not contain egg, and if anything there should be more of this. The fresh spring roll and the vegan rice were the highlights of the pad thai dinner

By far my favorite place on Ventura. Their service exudes care and meticulous detail. The food is cooked to near perfection. They treat their customers wonderful. The yellow curry is a favorite and so are the spring rolls. Best coconut pancakes.

Every time I come here it’s empty and I would be devastated if this place closed!!! It’s so good… Please eat here for my benefit. You won’t be disappointed!

This is a new favorite lunch and carryout spot of mine. The breadth of the options on the menu, as well as the great prices, certainly will keep me coming back. For my first visit, I ordered the Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce, and it did not disappoint — they achieve an uncommonly delicious, crispy glaze on the soy. I also got the lunch special(under $ 10 for a dish of your choosing, plus rice, a spring roll, and a side salad). I went with the Garlic Basil Seitan, I think — whatever it was, it was very good! I love the opportunity to customize so many favorite Thai dishes with your choice of «meat.» The service is fast and friendly, too. The restaurant itself isn’t handsomely decorated by any means, but it’s still a pleasant place to sit and have lunch. Whether you are vegetarian, vegan, or just looking for good food at good prices, you should check this place out!

I live nearby, and although I’m not vegan, I find myself heading over to Vegan World more often than not. I’m not sure why people are complaining about their customer service, I’ve ordered multiple times on the phone and through Unilocal/Eat24 without any issue. Once I ordered a dessert that they didn’t have, so someone called me to ask if I wanted something else and made some recommendations for me. The person who delivers the food is always super sweet and when I go to the restaurant to do take-out everyone is always very polite and friendly. I like their«chicken» nuggets, roasted potatoes, and rice ’cause right now my diet is limited due to health reasons. My partner gets the Spicy Pumpkin dish. The food was very flavorful and the Spicy Pumpkin entrée is a generous size. Oh! I also got their lemon cake and that was quite delicious. It was moist and fluffy. Their menu is pretty extensive, so I can’t speak for the items I haven’t tried, but I do enjoy those I get as does my partner and other friends I’ve eaten here with. FYI — to those who complain about the wait times for delivery, you should also remember this is a small business and it doesn’t matter that you live nearby. There are also other people ordering and they only have one delivery person, so stuff can take time. If you think their wait time is too long and you live close enough, you should just pick up the food directly as it’s much quicker.

I actually really do like the food here but their delivery service through Eat24 hours is not good and they are very unaccommodating on the phone. Clearly they don’t care at all about their customers. I’m really disappointed actually.

I’m not a vegan or vegetarian, but my god, this food was amazing. I’ve tried both the soy sweet and sour chicken and the pad thai, and I was not disappointed. The sweet and sour plate was filled with veggies– cherry tomatoes, zucchini, onions, peppers, and pineapples, brown rice which was cooked perfectly, and salad that is accompanied with a delicious dressing. The iced Thai tea with boba was also very good, and the total for two meals and two iced Thai teas was $ 27 which is around the expected price. Service was also very good !

The décor needs sprucing up but I thought I would give it a try anyhow. Ordered the pumpkin curry dinner spesh and there was maybe 4 very small pieces of pumpkin in it. food is ok, not great. Small servings. maybe Im comparing to Vims in Hollywood where I used to live. The soup with the dinner takes like old socks. I would def go somewhere else. pricey too for an below average meal. Customer service was also lacking… sigh I really had high hopes for this vegan place as its the closest one to me!

I asked for something spicy, they recommended the curry. I went with Pineapple curry, the food was fresh but bland.

Try to ignore the initial discomfort when you walk into this place. It looks like your average(maybe below average?) Asian food place. The décor could certainly use a revamp. Anywhom, I came here for lunch on 3⁄15 and I was blown away by the food, it was perfectly seasoned and just so delicious. I ordered an appetizer of soy orange chicken and an entrée of Soy Ginger Fish and Thai Iced Tea with Boba, delightful! I will definitely be making this a regular spot of mine!

Terrible, terrible customer service. We attempted twice to call for delivery service; bearing in mind we are staying not more than five minutes away; the first attempt — after a rude person on the other end of the phone communicated poorly with us — ended with them randomly putting the phone down on us. The second attempt — after we called back; ended with no apology for being hung up on; and a rather loud and abrasive woman saying delivery would take two hours(without us even mentioning what food we would like) as she didn’t know where we were. We hadn’t even given our full address at this point. A kind, polite communicator on the phone would have been a nicer experience. I’ll pay my money to someone else.

Since my last review, I’ve gotten a little more acquainted with their menu. You really just need to know what to order. Like every restaurant with a menu as extensive as theirs, there are strengths and weaknesses. The Thai side excels. The burgers and such, not so much. Their fried rice and chow mein dishes are really really good. I’m actually pretty blown away by the fact that they use black rice which is healthier than even brown rice. That’s pretty awesome. I don’t know many other places in the Valley offering that. Their pancakes are delicious and one of these days I hope to have a go at their burritos. If you avoid the non-organic soy, they do use plenty of other organic ingredients in their food(or so they say). We’re getting there, and I’m starting to come around.

Let’s talk about how they were: — Delicious. The chow mein and oriental tossed salad were delicious. Good tofu and tempeh. — FAST! We ordered delivery and they were 5 minutes earlier than the fasted stated delivery time. And they’re coming to Hollywood from Studio City at dinner time! Well done, traffic heroes! — Really helpful when it comes to having a Vegan and non vegan under one roof. Finding options that are still delicious to a meat eater, but are based on the vegan diet was really helpful. We’ll be ordering again!

Another victorious venue on my LA Thai Tour(Palms and Galanga Thai Fusion are in upper ranks as well). Also, before you read any further, make sure you order the«Chicken Summer» appetizer. Amazing sauce and texture. :) The Good We came 30 minutes to close and our server was still courteous and didn’t make us feel rushed out. Peanut sauce is on point. The Great My biggest selling point on this venue is the fact that they offer a wide range of soy meat versus your typical tofu cube that is the standard vegetarian option at other Thai restaurants. They do a darn good job of bringing the heat in this department! Pineapple Curry had thick, juicy cubes of pineapple and a spicy kick in the flavoring! Mint in the spring rolls! Room for Improvement Portion of the curry for dinner special should be larger. The layout of the menu could be more organized and clear.
