We have been around for over 27 years and specialize in drawing and painting classes (watercolor, oil and acrylic, charcoal and pastel) with an award-​winning instructor, Vibul Wonprasat, who has taught kids, adults, professionals, dignitaries and even royalty, all over the globe! It is because we truly care that students stick with us for so long, have a blast and get a superior education. As a matter of fact, Vibul is well known for his unique brand of instruction that turns out award-​winning students. Many of them also become art instructors and give back to the community as well, leaving a great legacy the world over.

History

Established in 1984.

The original «Vibul School of Painting» was opened in Marina Del Rey in 1984 and quickly became a hit, even internationally, as many students from Europe sought out the masterful teachings of Vibul. Vibul is quite comfortable teaching kids, teens and adults alike and takes on beginners as well as advanced students. Offering a FREE introductory class is something he has been doing for decades and students love it too. October of 2011 marks the opening of his second location in Studio City right on Ventura Boulevard. Master Vibul has had an incredibly successful and colorful career as an international visual artist for the last five decades which includes hundreds of awards for his unique art and flair for high quality art instruction, drawing in eager students from all over the world, and unforgettable exhibitions all over the globe, including the grand Louvre Museum in Paris, France. Vibul is the former Asian-​American commissioner for the LA Unified School District and in 2010 won the title of Best Art Instructor of Venice, California — US Commerce Association. Vibul is an expert art restorer and enjoys creating dynamic portrait art for the public. Above all, Vibul welcomes everyone in the community to stop by, have a FREE lesson, grab some wine and stroll around our new art gallery while enriching their lives with fine art!
