History

Established in 1999.

Hair colorist, Wendi Adams served an apprenticeship in the Color Department of Vidal Sassoon in Beverly Hills which launched a 20+year career as a stylist in the L.A. market, from Technical Consultant Educator for Clairol Professional to Education Manager for Allen Edwards Salon in Studio City. Having reached the ceiling of company advancement she opened Maxifield’s Color Group in Studio City in 1999 which then led to print, film and t.v. work. In the mid 2000’s she took on a more exclusive private studio and formed a team with photographers, makeup artists and wardrobe talent whom are now part of Maxfield’s. In the Fall of 2015 the studio relocated to a little gem on Ventura Boulevard inside Belle Medical Spa/​Tina K. Skincare Studio, a full circle Co-​op of beauty professionals in a beautiful day spa setting where Wendi maintains her personal clients peppered with celebrities while booking shoots and personal image consulting.

Over the years I have learned that a more intimate setting lends itself to the client feeling more relaxed, thus feeling more open which is why I think you will love my private studio located inside the Tina K. Skincare Flagship Store; As for the services I provide, I always consider the lifestyle, skin tone, face and head shape before diving into a cut and color. Its imperative to consider those things to give my clients the best look that works for them. Not everyone is able to spend an hour a day blowing out layers or being married to their color every 4 weeks so I strive to incorporate a color and style that compliments each client’s routine. Likewise for the vanity fortuitous lot, I’m all for pushing the envelope, forever keeping in mind first and foremost, the IOTH (Integrity Of The Hair). I hope you visit us for a day of beauty soon!
