Express Lube Inc-West 10

My husband and I brought our cars in for an oil change today… We both have foreign cars… My car is an SUV, his car is a hatchback– my car cost $ 32.95 plus tax, as advertised– my husband’s car cost $ 47.76, NOT as advertised. The problem is– we weren’t notified. If we were, it would have been our choice… When my husband questioned the cost, the young man pointed to the sign, which said synthetic $ 89– so my husband said, I didn’t get synthetic & the young man said– well it says it somewhere… My household owns 5 cars & we will not be back! Btw– we have been loyal customers for years!

I’ve had my oil changed here the last four times it had to be done and all was well. This last time it was overdue and I realized I had only one day to have it changed before I needed to drive my car for an extended period of time/​distance.
I rushed to Express Lube to make their 1:45pm cutoff time on Sunday and got there at 1:47pm. The young boys there running the shop (no manager present) refused to take my car because they would run about 5 minutes past their closing time of 2:00pm.
I explained my situation to the young man and he curtly said, «No.» So now they’ve completely lost my business. I recommend going to Jiffy Lube down Rt. 10 in Morris Plains; adults work there.

I have been going here for years, along with my family, with no problems. I dropped off my car a few weeks ago, and when they returned it to me my muffler was snapped. The boys working there never thought to mention it to me, until after I walked back in and asked, however they had no problem coming up to me in the middle of the oil change trying to sell me a new air filter. Once approached, they threw their hands up, and told me to call the manager, who was not on the property. But, I had to wait a few minutes so they could call them first.
After 10 minutes, Beau walked onto the property, and immediately went to talk to his staff. He came up to my car and said «I heard their story now what’s yours?» No, hi how are you, or pleasant greeting. After explaining that my car had no problems before the oil change, and now it has a very obvious and loud problem i was told it was my fault, and that they weren’t responsible for it. Beau was very defensive and would not let me talk or explain my side at all, he kept talking to me as if I was an idiot. He told me that my muffler was already snapped, and his boys did me a favor by hanging it back up, after saying a few minutes earlier that they weren’t trained to do anything other than oil changes. Finally, I was done dealing with him, since he was not listening at all, and asked very simply for a name of a mechanic that I could bring the car to, and have the bill sent to the business, and i got «oh honey, don’t even try that»
What worries me most is what else has happened in that garage that they don’t tell their customers. There is no management on the property, and it is a bunch of young kids running things. Also, why are they doing work on my vehicle that I never authorized them to do?

The staff is very friendly. When you drive up to the garage entrance through the back, you are greeted by a smiling employee. I have never seen a car service center that cares this much about its clients. Truly the best, reliable, & did I say they are fast?! Fastest in town!

Very fast, friendly, and courteous. They had me in and out in about fifteen minutes, provided a free quick car vacuum, and even fixed a small item under my car that was broken free of charge. Definitely recommended.
For dog lovers, they also have a sweet pup that hangs around the office and comes to say hi.

Friendly and FAST. Will go there again, and again for oil changes. And judging from a friend that was there also getting her car fixed. trust worthy guys w/​your auto as well!
