My husband and I came for a scheduled meeting with a sales person, We arrived on time and everyone seemed to be busy. Then, when someone did talk to us we mentioned having a scheduled meeting with a specific salesperson that had been already set up. The guy left and then comes back saying «oh, she is not here today». Ok, what? Why arrange a meeting for a specific date and time and then not be there? I guess it doesn’t matter that we, too, have lives and other things to do. I thought that was incredibly rude. Yes, I really felt the love from the moment we walked in! And the sad part is, the visit only went down from there. The «new» sales person barely agreed to a test drive with us, only gave short snotty answers about the car during the drive and essentially told us that they did not have what we were looking for. They actually gave us the test drive in a car that was already sold. The sad part is, we LOVE the car and will be buying a Discovery within the month. Just not from here. I would rather drive out of state or over an hour from where we live to buy it at a dealership who treats people with respect.

Classic bait and switch dealership. I responded to a CARS​.COM ad for a Range Rover to inquire about the vehicle. I got a reply back to call them regarding the purchase of the vehicle. I responded again asking for pictures and questions on the vehicle and they responded that the vehicle did not meet their high standards but they could help me find another one.
Sales departments starting sketchy is not a good start to the process.
After reading other reviews it appears that the bait and switch is fairly common here.

Bought a range rover sport here one year ago. Told me vehicle was fully inspected. Today, 12 months later with 8k miles they tell me that all the lug nuts are bad, RUSTED out and I need to pay $ 18.00×20 to replace. VERY unhappy with this dealership. If they truly did the inspection, which I now highly doubt, they would have caught this. Instead they rather screw the customer who paid a TON of money for this vehicle and expected a quality Venice and dealership.
Shop elsewhere, they treated me nice UNTIL I took delivery. Then everything changed. Will never buy from a Herb Chambers dealership ever again.

I needed service on my Rover and since the problem was kind of complicated i took it here figuring they have seen this problem before. I guess that i am spoiled with a regular service place JWhites in Framingham. I called the service desk for four days to get some kind of status but was told no one has looked at the car. After 7 and two more calls before i was told a tech looked at the car. Still waiting. .which had me concerned. Well they are busy for a reason. The service department is great. Denise handled my service and kept me up to date on the gory details of my the repairs on my Range Rover. She took a extra effort to make sure that no unnecessary labor charges we added to my repairs. If you purchased or stop into the Sudbury location for repairs make sure to ask for Denise.

We called today at noon today to go look at a bmw convertible they had. They said great, we are open until four and got the name of the salesman. We drove about an hour and were met by the sales manager and the salesman. They asked for my license so they could let me test drive it. After 10 minutes we were informed it was sold! Seriously? In an hour? (someone had put a deposit on it the day before but they didnt tell us this) He made some lame excuse and said if you give me your name Ill call you when another comes in. I nicely said «I wouldnt buy from you after this anyway so dont bother. No apology from the manager, nothing. Funny we brought our friend to the herb chambers in hingham last week and helped her buy a lexus. They were terrific. Beyond terrific. Thats why I had high hopes for this Herb Chambers. My husband loves to upgrade his car and mine every couple years but we wont ever return there… amazing the difference in the level of service between dealerships under the same umbrella…

Terrible customer service. Irresponsible salesperson. I would give no star at all if I had the option.

I have been extremely happy with the dealership from both a sales and service perspective.
I have never felt pressured to buy here or had a difficult time dealing with sales management, unlike other dealerships that I have visited. Lance, my sales rep, made things seemless. Even after purchasing a vehicle and noticing an issue with the car, the sales team willingly pick up the repair costs.
The service team is exceptional, especially Pat, and always willing to go the extra mile for you to try to accommodate your needs. Being greeted by your name and with a smile is something you don’t see anymore. Thank you!

Best LR service shop in the area. And Pat Higgins is the single best service adviser with whom I’ve ever worked. Full stop.
Excellent, timely, and consistent communications. No surprises. Proactive effort to ensure my (car’s) concerns are fully addressed. Easy scheduling. Proper LR loaner vehicles. Everything you expect from a LR service experience. And they fix it right the first time (unlike the folks just north of Boston).
Strongly recommend them over other options.

Great experience with incredible service! Adam was very genuine and patient. The whole team was attentive and addressed all my needs. I am very excited about the purchase of my new Evoque. I have dealt with other dealerships in the past and this one is truly exceptional.

Ever gone to car dealers where they are overly enthusiastic to sell you a crap car? I thought those car dealers were bad but this has the be the worst! I had a long one and a half hour drive to check out some evoques. I was promised a test drive on a couple of variations of the model and that they would be kept ready.
Upon arrival I was not greeted nor directed to nor spoken to for at least 15mins. Finally a sales rep approached me. After telling him I would like to take a look at the evoques he disappeared for 30mins and got back to me saying the model I’m interested in is sold out. I settled to look at other versions so I could get a feel for the car. He walked away without saying a word and disappeared and found him attending other customers. I approached him and told him I’ve been waiting here now 1hr and still not seen a single car and my time is being wasted. He apologized and returned after 10mins telling me that all of them are sold out! I was standing looking out side one evoque right in front of me!
I completely agree with Ed L. and i feel as though its a pattern they have. I doubt they would honor any promises or deals they would offer you.
In short they wasted my time. If you want to be catered there or shown some respect as a customer you need to rent a ferrari and drive into their lot (if you get my drift)
There are always better dealers to deal with.

I loved having my car serviced here (for 4 years) before it was acquired by the evil empire, Herb Chambers.
I had the brakes replaced, at the suggestion of the service manager, because they were makie an awful high pitch noise. $ 2000 later, still there and I was told replacing the brakes was not a guarantee to get rid of the noise. WHAT?
Adding insult to injury, the car was returned with the remote locking not working, a drained battery and, eventually, a dead alternator. All and all, 4 trips to the dealer and another $ 2500 of repair bills. And, not a single apology for bring the car back with something else wrong with it.
The battery and alternator was replaced at another dealer since I was disgusted with the whole experience.
