I brought my car to 202 collision which was recommended by a friend who recently got some work done. Daryl and his staff are top notch. They worked great with my insurance company and got me into a rental right a way. They also kept me in the loop during the repair process. My car looked amazing and I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend 202 collision.

My friend and coworker had a horrible experience. After bringing his car 5 times and it was not fixed properly he was informed they don’t handle mechanical issues even though problem was caused by them. Each time he got his car back there was a new issue. They just like to take your money stay away. Horrible service

Darryl and his team were able to expertly repair my car in a timely manner. After a hit and run accident, I was left with an impressive amount of damage. They gave me a quote and worked with insurance without any additional info needed from me. Hopefully we won’t need to come here again, but I will always recommend them for collision work to anyone who needs it.

I recently had my car repaired at 202 Collision. I haven’t been in an accident in a very long time and was very nervous about the whole process of dealing with my insurance company and choosing a body shop for repairs. A friend of mine recommended 202 Collision and I am so very thankful they did. They helped me through the insurance process, set up a rental car for me and handled meeting with the insurance adjuster. I was thrilled with the repairs and they finished it in less time than they originally quoted me. My car looked like it just came off the showroom floor they even cleaned the inside! I would recommend 202 Collision to anyone looking for an honest, quality repair shop. I hope I don’t have to have my car repaired anytime soon but if i do it will be at 202 Collison for sure!

202 Collision was recommended to me years ago as being the best in the business, but they are not. In 2005 I collided with a deer and based on those recommendations, I took my 1 year old vehicle to them to repair the front end damage, involving one front headlamp and surrounding area. I had comprehensive insurance with a deductible and they made the most of it charging as much as they could to my insurance company. When finished, it looked perfect to me, so I filed away the bill with my deductible payment for my tax accountant. Fast Forward: I went to sell the car 9 years later in 2014 and forgot to disclose the incident as it did not appear on the Carfax report and I did not keep the paperwork in the folder with other repair record. The buyer complained (after the sale) that he tried to change the headlamp but couldn’t because of the poor body work job that was done and he wanted to know who did it. I was shocked and didn’t know what to say to him. Be very careful because the poor job that these guys did on my car, did not manifest until someone tried to change the headlamp. Just because it looks good does not mean it was done right. They are very, very shady, and I will not ever use them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

I stopped by Collision 202 this afternoon to find out if it was possible to push in a dent in a plastic part of my car rather than spending mega bucks to replace the part. Tim, who was at the desk, came out to have a look, and went to get one of the men who usually deals with that sort of thing. He applied the heat gun, pushed the part back to its usual position, and Tim sent me on my way, refusing to take my money. If I were ever to do real damage to my car, I would take it back to Collision 202 in a heartbeat. Thank you, Tim!

A few weeks ago, when the Mayor of New York City decided not to close the schools with tons of snow on the ground, my wife was driving down the thruway, hit one of the ruts in the road and slid off the road into the shoulder about 10 feet into a 3 foot pile of snow. She ripped the bumper cover off, bent both fenders, broke both headlights, and damaged all the brackets holding everything together. It was a ton of damage and a very scary initial estimate.
202 finished the job in 5 days, and the car now looks better than when we brought it in. They even polished the headlights so they didn’t have that «old car» fog over them. The price was very reasonable, they stayed in touch to keep us up to date on the progress, and the reason for replacing every part was explained.
I have a natural distrust of mechanics and body shops because I’ve been burned so many times, but I would not hesitate to bring my truck or my wife’s car here again should we ever need body work. They did a brilliant job, and they were incredibly friendly and accommodating. If I ever need to recommend a body shop to someone, that decision is an easy one.
