Suffern Podiatry offers several treatments for those suffering from ailments such as ingrown toenails, heel pain, gout, bunions, plantar warts, and many more. We also specialize in providing custom molded foot orthotics at a very reasonable price. A custom foot orthotic have been known to help alleviate many of the common foot ailments that patients suffer from.

History

Established in 2000.

Dr. Friedman began practicing podiatry in Suffern, NY in 2000 after taking over an existing podiatry office that had been at the same location since 1985. Suffern Podiatry provides foot care for children and adults, giving personal care in a warm setting. The office is conveniently located off of Exit 14B of the New York State Thruway, I-​87.

Business Owner

Dr. Howard E. Friedman is a podiatrist and board-​certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He became a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in 2000.

Dr. Friedman is on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY and also a staff member of the hospital’s Wound and Hyperbaric Institute. He graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1994 and completed his residency training in foot surgery in 1996, serving also as chief resident. He continued at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine as an instructor and then as an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery.

Dr. Friedman has been treating patients in his office in Suffern, NY full-​time since June 2000. He treats children and adults providing both surgical and non-​surgical care.
