History

Established in 1995.

After 20 years in the Heating and Air Conditioning industry, Shawn Nystrom decided to branch out and start his own company. Atlantic Shores Heating and Cooling started with just two employees in 1995 and grew to 10 in just two years. Today the company employs over 20 people and their secret to success is great customer service, using the best materials and installing the most efficient and affordable systems.

Business Owner

Shawn Nystrom is the son of an Air Force veteran and considers himself a Suffolk native and graduate of Kechoughtan High School. He started in the HVAC industry in 1975 and started his business in 1995.

He’s a husband and father of six and he enjoys woodworking and specializes in period reproduction furniture.
