This business is closed. I decided to try it out yesterday but there was a sign on the door that it was closed and would reopen soon as a BBQ place soon. I was hoping to try it out but I guess I’ll have to wait for the new place to open.

This place is great! The food is delicious… we’ve been several times and are never disappointed. The service is good. If you go, try the calamari… can you say yummy?

Awesome pizza and wings at great prices. The service was a little slow but everyone was really friendly. We had it delivered the second time and it got here super fast and hot. I think we found our new pizza place!

Great new restaurant! Ordered Hawaiian pizza and lemon pepper wings. The food was great, especially the wings! Great, friendly staff and atmosphere. Will definitely be returning when coming back to Suffolk.

There isn’t too much excitement here in Suffolk so I try to enjoy the little things in life. When I found out about a new restaurant in downtown, my heart went pitter-patter. Cosmic Pizza and Wings(CPW) opened about a month ago, and is located on West Washington, across from the Planters Retail Store. Being the good Unilocal girl that I am, I went over the same day to check it out. The new owner of CPW is Ralph Nahra, and he has hired Kyle Tierney to manage CPW. Tierney has 12 years of pizza experience; he previously worked at Sal’s Pizza(not to be confused with«Sal’s Pizzeria” – totally different places). When you walk through the door, the interior is spacious; even the kitchen is wide open for you to see the food being prepared – which I like. The walls are painted a brick red; in fact, the walls are indeed brick. The light curtains hanging from the top to the bottom makes it feel like there are windows. The waitress asked if I was eating-in or taking-out. When I replied „taking-out,“ I thought I got a glimpse of annoyance – maybe I dreamed it. Nevertheless, she was courteous from the rest of my time there. I ordered two pizzas: one 18» Hawaiian and one 14″ Chicken Chipotle Pizza(chicken, bacon, spinach, pepperoni, and onion drizzled with chipotle and barbecue sauce), and 12 Honey Barbecue Wings. If you’re familiar with Sal’s Pizzeria, then the pizza at CPW is pretty much the same – as well as the wings. The Hawaiian was good; the Chicken Chipotle was tasty but overdone, and my crust was too dark. I was a bit disappointed at CPW; since the food is very similar to Sal’s Pizzeria, and not nearly as good as Amici’s(which is right up the road), I will not be going back often. According to the owner, they are trying to get an outside patio and space for musicians. If that happens, I might go back again. However, there was no «we appreciate your business» or «come visit again.» The service wasn’t bad, but not a friendly vibe; I give them 3.5 stars. On to the next exciting endeavor!

Great addition to the Suffolk pizza scene. Wings are fried crispy with no batter and tossed in a great hot sauce. The veggies are sliced thin the way I like them on my pizza. Pizza is also thin like a New York but deep dish is available in a smaller size. Any old timers out there who know about East Side Pizza in Portsmouth may find this pizza similar. Service is good. My two year old threw my drink and the waitress was great about cleaning up and pouring me another. The only bad thing I can really say about Cosmic pizza is that it occupies the previous home of Sushi Aka… which means Sushi Aka is gone.

My husband and I took our 2 girls in for dinner the night after they opened. I’m so glad we did! The service was friendly, the food was timely and best of all the pizza was delicious. The slices are huge! My 4.5 yr old even commented on how good the sauce was. A great addittion to downtown Suffolk.
