Terrible. First and last time. Unfortunately, I am waiting on refund owed almost 6 months ago, despite several calls placed to their office. Apparently, the Billing Manager– Mrs. TRINHNGUYEN– is the only person who can assist me. However, she is NEVER in the office, and she has NEVER returned my calls. I called a couple of weeks ago, and the person who answered the phone offered to take my credit card information to pass it on to the billing manager for the refund. Later, someone called on behalf of the billing manager, stating that the receipt for the refund would have to be signed by the patient; I requested them to fax me the form, and we would mail the original and fax back a copy. The billing manager will never speak to me and on that particular day had someone else relay that information to me. It is very sad that the office of Dr. Charles Phan resorts to poor customer service in hopes that the patient will forget about the refund due, and let it go due to the unbearable hassle of dealing with his staff. Whether large or small, it is absolutely dishonest to keep anything that was not rightfully earned. It is outrageous that for such an amount they are willing to risk their reputation. They are quick to take payments over the phone, but cannot speak to a patient regarding a refund owed, and resort to various excuses to frustrate the patient, instead of offering solutions.
