My daughter scheduled her hair and makeup for her wedding. Kathy and the others did an excellent job working with the entire wedding party including the mothers. My daughter looked beautiful and everyone at the wedding commented on her hair and makeup. My daughter and my wife were so happy with the results they decided to use Eduard Jorj as their regular salon, leaving their hair salon they had used for years.

I gave 5 star rating for this salon because of a job well done. The stylist who did my haircut is Kathy and I can only say good things about her. This salon exceeded my expectation. From the moment I stepped in they were very accommodating which I felt as a customer was perfect. I felt like a VIP and most importantly, they were very professional. Kathy was super detailed and kind to talk to me about the latest haircut trend and what style would fit my personality. And yes she was right! I liked my hair now better than ever. The layering added a texture to my hair and it looked so nice and beautiful. One thing I like about them is that you don’t have to book for an appointment which is great for people on the go like me. Also, I want to add that the salon is nice and neat with cool designs inside. It feels expensive yet affordable… I highly recommend Eduard Jorj Salon if you want cool and trendy haircuts. They are the best! Will be back in two weeks time…

I have a lot of hair and usually when I get it colored, the colorist gets lazy and I end up having spots on my head And walk away unhappy. NOT WITH KATHY! She does an AMAZING job. She is honest about how she thinks my hair should look and that is what u want in a stylist. Her husband Paymon does my husbands hair and it looks so great on him. Paymon was a professional. This is a great salon!

Finding the right hair stylist, in my opinion, is just as hard as finding the right dentist or doctor. After all, you really do feel as good as how you look. Eduard Jorj Salon is such a place. From the moment the phone is answered, one can sense the genuineness of the salon and the staff. The level of their skills and attention to details do set them above the ordinary.
Peyman is the man to go to when it comes down to perfection. I’ve never been treated with such attentiveness from the second I sat down to have my hair wash and shampoo. And yes, he did cut my hair the way I wanted, not what they think is good for me like other places. The result is just… so satisfying.
I often use Unilocal to make informative decisions, I’m posting this review to help others in case they need to make that important decision when it comes to choosing a salon.

I’ve been to pretty much every salon in sugar land the past few years but decided to stick to this one after getting a haircut from Peyman. Seems like he is the only one that can get my hair under control. Highly recommend him. Have already sent several friends to him and they’re all very happy too.

I really like coming here. It’s not pretentious like some of the other salons in the area but it’s very nice. Everyone here is great. I’ve had my hair cut by Kathy and Peyman and they both have done a great job. They make a great team and it looks like the other stylists do a good job too.

I cannot say enough about my stylist Yolanda! She is so down to earth and I don’t trust ANYONE but her with my color and cuts. She is so fast and flawless with the way she does my foils. The color is always perfect and I get so many compliments from people, even while I’m still in the salon! Yolanda is professional, kind, listens and knows what works. Finally love my hair color! Super picky about professional color brands and Eduard Jorj’s choice of color line does great covering grey and lasting. Kathy is my stylist and she is excellent and keeps up with trends and what looks best for my hair type.

Thanks to Kathy and the team at Eduard Jorj, I always get in and get out in no time and she does an excellent job on men’s hair. I used to hate going to random salons because they never used to do a good job on my hair. I would let my hair grow out for months at a time. Once I moved I found Eduard Jorj which is very close to my house and I never even thought about going anywhere else since then. Now I go every couple weeks. Kathy is the nicest person and always takes care of me when I go there. I have never been this happy about my hair before Kathy started cutting it.

I love Eduard Jorge in Sugar Land! I use to drive out to the galleria area for my cuts and speacial occasion up-do’s but the team here can do it all! Kathy has done my hair now for many years and always understands exactly what kind of look I’m going for. She’s also styled my hair and make-​up for several wedding’s and special occiasions that I’ve attended and everyone always wants to know where I got it done. The entire team is so friendly, I’ve already recommeded my sister, mom and friends to make the switch to Eduard Jorge!

I use to drive to river oaks to get my hair done all the time because no one can actually get the color I want on my hair, but after going on Unilocal and reading the reviews, I thought, let’s give this place a try, and of course because it was closer to my home. So after coming here, the results are beyond what I expected! My stylist is Kathy, she is such a sweetheart and an amazingggg stylist. Kathy got me the color I want, and suggest me products and techniques to get my hair healthier. All the other staff members are friendly and great. This will definitely be the place where I would recommend all my friends and family.

Wow! Lety and her team at Eduard Jorj are wonderful. My daughters and my mother go here, and although their hair types and styles are quite diverse, the stylists keep them all in top form. Lety, the owner, is an absolute dream. I highly recommend them.

I don’t know what I’d do without Lety and her team at Eduard Jorj Salon! I’ve been going there for over a year and wouldn’t dream of trusting anyone else with my hair. Lety, the owner, is gifted in everything she does. Her expertise has improved the quality of my hair, and her warm and friendly demeanor make me come back again and again. I have referred at least a half dozen people to her, and they all agree. In fact, one of my friends loves Eduard Jorj so much, she moved to Mexico City and still flies in to have them cut her hair. I haven’t been to this salon in years, so I apologize if my review seems dated. Perhaps things have changed at this salon — perhaps not. Either way, I want to warn people about the unpleasant experience I had here.
I had been attending this salon for years, way before the name change and I believe new management. I had a formal event to go to, and I wanted to get my hair done. I brought my own hair clip and explained to the hair dresser (I will not name names) what I wanted done. My request was simple: I wanted my hair curled, but with part pulled back in the clip, and part down. I even brought pictures.
As I was sitting in the chair, the stylist was working on my hair. It was going well until she started doing some weird things that I did not ask for. I asked what she was doing and she said «Oh, I just wanted to do my own touches.» Um… no. When I come into a salon and ask for something specific, I expect my request to be met. I do not come in for someone to experiment on my hair and do a bunch of funky things with when I have a huge formal event to prepare for. When I asked her to take out what she had done and start over, I was greeted with the worst attitude — as if I had destroyed all her hard work.
If I come in with pictures and directions before a formal event, I expect that to be done. I do not want to be someone’s play thing. If you want to practice and play with hair, use one of the dummy models — not a human model who didn’t agree to any of this.
Now, I am not some sort of bridezilla type of person — not at all. If she had told me ahead of time while we were reviewing the picture I had brought in, things would be different. But she didn’t. If she had said, «Oh, well can I try this…» I may have actually said yes. But she just went off and did her own thing without my consent at all. I was floored. How unprofessional can you get?
And when i asked her to stick to the photograph, she looked at me with this shocked look, pursed her lips and yanked — I repeat YANKED — the bobbypins out of my hair. It was so rude and so painful and I just sat there shocked. I needed my hair done for the event, and couldn’t just walk out or else I would have. She didn’t say anything to me the rest of the time. She just did what I asked with those pursed lips and didn’t say anything when she handed me a mirror to look over my hair from the back. When I said, «Oh yes, how pretty! You did amazing! Thank you so much, I love it!» She rolled her eyes and yanked the mirror out of my hand and told me to go pay out. I did.
After paying, I went to take her her tip which she snatched from my hand and said with pursed lips, «Have a good time tonight.»
Excuse me? There was no excuse for her behavior. I was floored. I have since never returned. When I want a haircut or color, I go to Supercuts. They are much more professional and a lot nicer to deal with. When I want a style done, I go to the salon at Ulta. I will never come back to this place again. I don’t care if it’s been awhile and they’ve since gotten better. I will never give this place my business. I have also told all my family and friends about my experience here and they will never come here either.
If you want to be professional, get better staff that know how to treat customers professionally and with kindness. The behavior that I was subjected to was totally unprofessional and uncalled for. As I said, if she had just talked to me prior, asked my permission, and explained what she wanted to do to my hair, I would have been more open. However, her attitude and her treatment of me prior to me asking her if she could «please just stick to the picture I had provided» things would have been a lot different. Like I said, I hope some changes have been made. I really do. However, I will not be one to put myself at risk in order to find out.
