Omgracious. I was going to be a new patient. DR. D was out. So I said I would see someone else. Her, YOUNEEDTOHAVEYOURINSCARDREADYCAUSEGOINGTOASKQUESTIONS. Ok. But I am not stupid and Never been talked to so rude. Told that snippy receptionist that she was rude and wouldn’t come there if I was paid. First impression is everything! Too bad Dr. D is highly recommended

We had an appointment today for our son at 10:15. We arrived at 10. We were finally called back to a room at 10:45! What is the use of having an appointment when that time is not going to be respected?!? When in the room, we waited another 20 minutes for the doctor. We had a hearing test and then we waited some more by the time we were done, it was a two hours later. Our 18 month old son was done and super fussy. The doctor seemed very busy and not very personable. He was never rude, but I felt that we were just ‘another patient’. I’m having serious second thoughts of going here for the follow up.

I had a positive experience with Houston ENT’s Sugarland location. The location is behind a restaurant named Floyd’s and to the side of the bigger medical complex buildings. The parking is free lot parking. I originally used the online portal to make an appointment after office hours, and someone called me back the very next day. The scheduling department, front desk staff, and check out cashier were all average in their levels of friendliness and professionalism. The wait time to see the doctor was about 30 – 35 minutes. The insurance paperwork and patient health screen questions were all filled out with electronic medical notepads that look like iPads for kids with a thick orange plastic casing for protection. The lobby is clean and large enough with seating for at least 30 people. There is a little section on the side with games for kids and a screen that shows information related to Houston ENT. I don’t know what the standard office visit for an ENT is in the industry to have a reference if they are high or not, but at Houston ENT Sugarland, a regular office visit is $ 175 without insurance/with insurance but you haven’t met your deductible.

having a plugged ear… called and made an appointment… snippy receptionist wants insurance card number(as if I have it memorized) I tell her I am driving, will give it to them when I get there. When I arrive, there are 3 people in the waiting room… same snippy receptionist? tells me that I may have to wait …‘at least an hour’…for them to check my insurance. I give her the number… see the doctor… he claims I have ear wax… charges me $ 210 .won’t process insurance(have to pay cash) since i wasn’t ‘pre-approved’ ear is still plugged. called and asked to speak to the doctor two more times to discuss… no return calls… no return me either…
