I wish I could give this place a half a star. The shellac manicure was nothing but removing my precious shellac with a nail file, and putting on new polish. The pedicure was less than basic they didn’t use a scrub or any products! When I told the owner I wasn’t satisfied he said that was my problem. Horrible customer service!

It was my first visit to this nail salon and will be my only visit. A lady and two men were at work. Upon entry I asked for a natural nail mani/pedi. As I was looking for polish,(they had a nice selection behind the desk), I reached for a polish in the glass cabinet. I did not see that color on the other display. The lady«scolded» me for reaching in the cabinet. She kept saying that the color was on the floor — and when I asked her to find it, it was at a station and not on the display. The younger guy did a decent job on my pedicure, but the manicure, done by the lady was substandard. She left polish on my cuticles and seemed perturbed that I asked her to clean the cuticle.(Pic on the bottom left shows the extra polish she left. I edited to black & white so you could see the contrast better). Despite that the polish was OPI, it chipped and peeled rather quickly. Within 24 hours it had begun chipping at the edges. By day 2 it was looking very raggedy. I’ve never experienced an OPI chip like this or this quickly. Likely the polish had been thinned out with remover. Unfortunately I was traveling and unable to go back by the salon to request a redo on the color. Sorry, I won’t be back to this salon– even in a pinch.

STAYAWAY! I went in here on a whim wanting a quick mani pedi. The guy owner did my pedi. No complaints with him. The woman who did my mani was horrible. She kept digging her thumb nails into the sides of my nails. Hurt like hell. Then when she got out the cuticle cutter she was going to fast and it was hurting then bam! She cut the hell out of me! She kind of laughed at me when I said ouch. It was bleeding and I have never bled at a nail salon before. Took her an hour and a half for basic shellac. And the whole time she kept sniffling and coughing without covering her mouth. She would wipe her nose on her sleeve and was just nasty. At one point she was talking with another employee and in the middle of applying polish she stops and examines a cigarette the other lady was handing her. Wtf they offered no compensation or anything for hurting me. Just don’t go here it’s awful.

If I could leave no stars I would. Absolutely terrible customer service. Made the mistake of getting my sister a gift card to there for Christmas. She had a balance of 2 dollars and didn’t have cash so she asked whether she could use her credit card. Rather than calmly explaining that there was a penalty for charges less than 10 bucks this ignorant woman starting braying at her(braying bc she had somewhat of a donkey like quality to her voice) for not having cash in front of the entire store. They gave her a terrible manicure-barely 1 minute massage-and the place stank. My sister also said that the entire time she was there she was treated like dirt, made to wait over 20 minutes for no apparent reason, asked repeatedly during her manicure whether she had paid already and also that when she presented her gift certificate to the store they inspected it for 10 minutes as if it were forged. I called to complain to the store front and general manager and was told to «just forget about it» and«to go talk to your sister» about her terrible experience. I was literally yelled at by donkey woman and was shocked that someone could be so rude in a customer service field like this. Wth!!! I am so embarrassed that I got her a gift card to this cheap trashy place she will not be using the balance left on her gift card and I basically threw money away here. When I said as much to the general manager on the phone he said«well we have plenty of other customers». Umm… that will soon change I have no doubt. Don’t make the same mistake as I did. There are plenty of other nicer salons in the area ps Sweetwater anyone?

I enjoy the massage chair and the fact that they always accept walk-ins. I think the price for basic polish is a bit high, but I still like the ladies who work there. I will say that I tried Shellac for the first time(and last time here). I should have changed my mind when a lady walked in saying her polished chipped after a few days – and it is supposed to last at least a week. Sure enough, my thumbnail polish chipped off by day 2, and a few days later another finger chipped. That made me sad because that stuff is a pain to remove at home.
