Mike Tate’s 99 Tire and Auto

This place is great! I contacted them through their request form and they responded within the hour. I decided to take my Mustang there as the reviews were really good. My suspension was making an odd sound that kept getting worse. When I got there, they actually listened to what all I had done to the car already before they took it back. They came back around in about 45 minutes and told me my end links had come loose. They let me test drive it just to make sure that fixed it. I asked them if they could put loc-​tite on the bolts and do a brake fluid exchange. They said no problem and took it back again. When I originally arrived the guy I was emailing with (Paul) was not there but he made it a point to greet me when he arrived. The waiting room has really comfy couches. I also heard a lot of people coming and going, most of which sounded like repeat customers and seemed happy to be there. Got the car back after about 2.5 hours and everything is great! I highly recommend this place.

Had a slow leak in my tire and this shop got me back on the road within an hour. Fast and friendly!

Have gone to Mike Tate’s for several years. With so many kids, and so many cars come and go… we have NEVER had a problem with any car we have taken to Mike’s… The feedback on the New Territory closed Facebook page is very positive for Mike Tate’s garage.

I am highly satisfied with explanations of any of my car repairs. They are straight forward and no hidden fees. It helps to have a AAA membership card as it applies discounts to SOME of the services they provide. I hope Mike Tate’s stays open for a very long time.

I thought I reviewed this place already. The fact is: the wait is always an hour or longer. However, these are probably the nicest group of people I have ever met in a mechanic shop. they are super respectful and polite. The waiting room seems like you are in someone’s living room – it’s pretty comfortable and you have access to the remote so you can watch whatever you want. There’s also a water dispenser, comfy couches and free wifi. I often bring my laptop because I know the wait is going to be long. I get my state inspections here and come here for any mechanical issues with my car. The mechanics always give me honest feedback and don’t try to upcharge me or convince me to get work done on my car that is unnecessary. The one star taken off is due to the wait. They are always busy and I never get out of there in less than an hour (or sometimes two).

Love these guys and trust them with my cars and thusly my family’s lives. They do excellent work, offer excellent service, and provide excellent community service by supporting many local sports and other extracurricular organizations.
