A must try experience Nobody can believe how good is the Arabic shawarma here It is the most delicious shawarma in town or should I say the states I’ve never tried something this fresh or this good before

Not a fan of thick pizza, but the flavor is good here. They make the pizza while you order, so if there’s some ingredient you don’t like, ask they don’t put on it.

Amazing take on pizza! The flavors are plentiful and the staff is very friendly. Try the pockets, if they have any, and you won’t be disappointed.

This place has an eclectic take on pizza, brimming with all sorts of exotic spices and flavors. My favorite pizza is Mama’c Chicken Tawook, but literally every item on the menu is delicious. Prices are incredibly low too. The management is so friendly and routinely offers free samples.

I was here before they had officially launched, it was more a soft launch and they were open for business. Tried their Marinara pizza, and yes they weren’t ready for business then. Just tried them again today, and I should say they changed my opinion, for the better. Tried their Muhammara Combo pie. The base sauce was a blend of spicy tomato sauce with minced Red peppers. It had a tangy but yet spicy, mild kick to it. I loved it. The Cheese was concentrated just to the center. This is a personal pie, probably 6″ in all but well spread paste but cheese is going to be in the center. They are competing with other local DIY pizzas like MOD Pizza and Blaze Fast Fired all pretty close by. But what UB is offering is the Mediterranean twist to it. Mazen who was behind the counter today was very friendly and took extra care to explain the choices. He even served up a sample of few items, Zatar pie and falafels, they were really good. He also explained that the Kashkaval cheese they use, is probably one of the richest which explains why its served in moderation and for a good reason too! I will be a regular here, just for their service and quality of food! Will definitely recommend this restaurant, try it and you won’t be disappointed. And ask for Mazen, he is amazing with his customer service!

I have stopped by a few times and tried various menu items. from pizza to meat pies to sandwich’s and I would say the meat pies are my favorite. Service was nice and friendly and the food is great. I opted to try a few doors down for dessert as I wanted something cold and sweet.

I love the at home feel of this place, and the food reminds me of my mom’s pizza pies! So much flavor and originality in toppings makes this one of my favorites. The portions are great and there are several options to choose from. UB’s has made its way to the top of my go-to spots. It’s perfect for whatever mood I’m in.

So far, not such a great visit. The service is slow. We were told 15 minutes at 6:26 and just got the food at 7:18, that’s 52 minutes! They seem to only have one cook and one front person. Update on food: — UB Sandwich had good flavor, but soggy as hell. — Kafta Pie, bread was thick and way too much seasoning — Meat Pie was just okay This place is still on its first few weeks, so hopefully it gets better.

I tried the Muhammara Mediterranean pie where I was quite disappointed by the size. I personally did not enjoy the hot sauce too much but it was nice to try something new. I would, however, recommend U.B.‘s pizza which includes their special marinara sauce, blend of cheeses, bell peppers, onions, corn, pineapple, and beef. I am a huge fan of pizza with toppings galore! I did not find the crust particularly tasty — it was not seasoned at all. Maybe this is on purpose? I will give points for the crust being nicely thin and having a crispy, soft texture. Their tabouleh is great and compliments the pizzas very well! If I come back, I will definitely choose to build my own pizza. The interior is small and the service was good. The manager/owner(?) was polite and checked on us to make sure everything was going well. There appeared to be a miscommunication between him and another employee causing our food to be delayed. 3⁄5 — food 3.5÷5 — interior 4⁄5 — service If you are looking for a quick take out and something freshly made, this place is for you.

Got to try this place today, and I wasn’t disappointed. We got two custom pizza, and they were pretty satisfying to say the least. The pepperoni’s aren’t amazing, so I would give that a 4/5, but the grilled chicken on the pizza was pretty good on the most part. The pizza’s look small, but they are really filling! Definitely would come back to try the sandwiches and pies though.

Not quite as tasty as some other Arabic joints in the Houston area. But certainly needed in Sugarland as an alternative to Fadi’s.

Just okay. I had two pies and tabouleh for lunch. The pie is like a mini pizza served on a frozen crust without much flavor. The veggie pie was basically canned olives and peppers on the crust with maybe a little olive oil. The other was a Mediterranean combo which was interesting but not great. I couldn’t eat the tabouleh because it was so salty and lemony.

I tried their«Build Your Own Pizza» I have to say it’s uniquely delicious. The difference from other«Personal Pizzas» is that it has fresh ingredients on a fresh Chewy thin Mediterranean style flat bread. A refreshing break from the regular thin crust. compliment it with a Tabouli salad and it makes a perfect lunch combination.

Good, gourmet fresh fast food type of place. The place is clean and everything came out fresh. While the Mama’s Chicken Tawook sandwich was good, it should be served with a side at over 8 bucks per sandwich. Overall. We enjoyed supporting this small business and will return.

My wife and I ate dinner here after looking at Unilocal. We wanted something simple. UB’s is rather small, but not in a bad way. When we walked in there was only one other person eating. I’m thinking UB’s does more take out than dine in. The place is clean so that’s a plus. We were greeted by a young lady at the register. My wife and I weren’t sure what to get and no one behind the counter offered any suggestions. We ordered a 12″ Mama’s Tawook pizza($ 7.50), two pockets for $ 1.50 each, and a Mediterranean salad(($ 4.00). They don’t have a fountain station, so you have to buy bottled drinks. The two pockets(meat and spinach) were so so. The meat pocket crust was VERY stale and the meat didn’t have much taste. They aren’t made to order, so there’s no telling how long they were sitting out in the display. The spinach pocket was better. The salad was good. The pizza came out quickly. It was pretty good. There wasn’t a lot of chicken on it, but the sauce and cheese ratio was perfect for us. No grease either, so that’s a relief! The crust was similar to a thin cracker crust which we like. The owner/manager(?) sat at a table next to us to eat his dinner. He never said a word to us and never asked us about our food. When we left we never got a thank you or have a nice day as we were leaving. I’ve never understood why some new restaurants don’t train employees to promote their business. Of course, if the owner/manager doesn’t think it’s important then why should the employee. Overall, the food was ok and thus the reason I’m giving it 3 stars(a-ok) and not 4. We’ll probably try it again just to try some of the other dishes.

So I had to come back and update my review. I finally got to try their shawarma sandwich. It was amazing, the best I have had in Houston hands down(after my mothers of course). The mama tawouk was great too. I loved cole slaw, it was a great twist!!!

Came here for the first time to try out their shawarma and was pleasantly surprised to see the variety they had here. So many diff kinds of pizza options with all kinds of toppings. They even had beef pepperoni which I always have a hard time finding. I couldn’t decide so I had a pizza and«mama’s tawook sandwich.» It was delicious! Love that they put fries in the sandwich. Next time I’m gonna try the Mediterranean pies which looked pretty good as well.

This place is sooooo good! My family and I didn’t know what to order, so we got a whole bunch of pies, sandwiches, and a pizza, all to share. All wonderful choices! For the pies, we ordered the zaatar(thyme), the muhammara(hot sauce) with kashkaval, and, my personal favorite, the labneh(strained yogurt with onions, hot sauce, and finely crushed walnuts). Warm and delicious! For the sandwiches we got the UB’s chicken, the Mama’s tawook, and Samoor’s French Fry sandwich. All were great! So juicy and flavorful! Though I had it for lunch today, I’m already thinking about when the next time I can go grab a sandwich is. For the pizza, we built our own, using Mama’s red sauce, UB’s cheese mix, and topped it with a couple of veggies and pepperoni. Warm, soft dough, crisped just right, and all the makings of a delectable pizza! Can’t wait to go try it again. So many options to choose from!
