History

Established in 1996.

In April of 1996, a company began to form. Three University of Missouri-​Rolla students had an idea that was simple and real. Net Engineers began to provide new computer systems, upgrades to old computers, and technical support to area businesses.

On June 6, 1997, Missouri Senator David Klarich came to Sullivan on the grand opening of the Net Engineers storefront. He presented a Missouri State Senate Resolution to Net Engineers during the ceremony. The resolution commended and applauded Net Engineers, Inc. «for their admirable efforts and initiative which have such a profound and positive impact on the social and economic climate in the Sullivan and Cuba communities.»

The new store invited in the general public along with more businesses for computer services: new systems, upgrades, repairs, and other technical support. From that point, Net Engineers became very active in the local area and strives to help the local communities grow and prosper with all their technical needs.
