The Shrimp Connection’s core focus is fresh, sustainable seafood. We source most of our «radically fresh» seafood from NC and support our local fisheries. Our secondary aim is to meet customers needs with «gold standard» items from Florida, the Gulf area, Faroe Islands (salmon) and the Boston markets. Our seafood has an extended shelf life, high quality flavor and is second to none in terms of freshness.

History

Established in 2011.

The Shrimp Connection was begun in 2001 by Landon Wilder a former restaurateur. His mission was to bring the seafood’s of the NC coastal region to those living in-​land. We are committed to providing an exceptional seafood buying experience while educating the community about our mission by continually changing the menu to reflect sustainable seafood that is in season and is the finest available. The essential characteristic of sustainability is flexibility; the more we learn the more we change our behavior– Better for you, Better for us, Better for our environment.”
