I could not be more satisfied with the service and advice. Steve walked me though the steps for refinishing our front door. It turned out great. The prices may be a little higher than Home Depot, but you can’t get high end paint/refinishing supplies there either. He also cuts glass and is a real professional.

This is a nice hardware store. The staff knows their stuff and is helpful. If they don’t have what you need they offer suggestions of where to find it. It you are buying something really heavy they have you pull up in front of the store and they load it into your car. They are also great at mixing paint. Shop here.

Like other things in Summit, get ready to pay more for most items. If you have a car and time, go to Home Depot. The staffs or owners are not that friendly but I’m from NY so that doesn’t bother me much. However, it would be nice to see welcoming smile, wouldn’t it?

Staff is super-friendly and helpful. Went here looking for a light bulb and someone noticed us as we came in, asked us what we were looking for and rang us up.

I have been there twice and the service borders on rude — it is definitely rushed. I would rather go to Home Depot where there are more options and the service is actually better.

Cute little local old-school hardware store. Good alternative to the Home Depots of the world. Tools and trinkets for all your minor repair and project needs. Friendly prompt service – the guy led me to the correct light bulb so as to not burn my apartment down like I was apparently trying to do. I also got some wrappy tape(pumbing tape?) to try to make my showerhead stop spraying off into the breeze. Got some keys made too.

I’ve been here twice before and each time I got in and out pretty easy, but that’s because I knew exactly what I wanted/needed. Today, I tried to buy some industrial strength adhesive for a piece of my bike that is loose. The woman(first time meeting her) told me she is not a bike store and she can’t help me. I told her I needed adhesive or anything to just make the metal piece stick to a plastic piece. She again told me to go to the bike store and then told me whatever I need, she doesn’t have(a hardware store without adhesive? I found some at CVS). I thanked her for her time, and she just turned around. No smiles, no thank yous, no leads to a good bike store, just a pretty much a vibe of «get the hell out of my store, I don’t want be bothered by your bicycle.» I will not be returning to this store even though it is a 2 minute bike ride from my house.
