History

Established in 2008.

Sofi’s Color Lounge of Summit, NJ hair salon (Est. 2008), is the extension of the original Sofi’s Color Lounge of Cranford, NJ hair salon. Both hair salons share similarities in that they provide the highest quality and class of hair service, with the best professional hair products and professional hair tools available on the market. Where they differ is that Sofi’s Color Lounge of Summit, was designed with more of a one to one experience in mind. Sofi’s NJ hair salon in Summit is more laid back than its sister hair salon and has less chairs, housing less traffic. Its a different experience, all the while garning the same outcome; beautiful locks on a smiling customer!

Sofi’s Summit Hair Salon Is Close To The Train Station

The Summit NJ hair salon location was also opened with Sofis Color Lounge New York City customers in mind– with a short, direct train from NY Penn to the Summit Train Station, which is across the street from the salon.

Business Owner

Sofia Perez (born Sofia Jimenez) was born in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba in 1961. After defecting from her home country, as a young girl, she moved to Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1968. Although she had no idea at the time, her voyage to the United States would set the stage for her being on the forefront of the Hair Salon and Beauty Industry, being an innovator and one of the best hair stylists and leaders, within the industry!
