I absolutely love this farm. Marty and Mary Ann offer wool products(fiber CSA’s, yarn, spinning fiber, needle-felting fiber, etc…) from their own flock of sheep, needle-felting kits, knitting patterns and maple syrup that they make themselves. Marty teaches classes occasionally and is an avid hand-dyer and needle felter. There are 2 knitting groups that meet on Tuesdays. 1 – 4 in the afternoon for self-sufficient knitters, and a beginner class-like environment in the evenings 6 – 8PM. I highly recommend this farm as a great fiber-community hub in western Maine. I was introduced to this farm when I attended a yarn and yoga weekend retreat in October 2012. They offer many weekend retreats throughout the year, where you stay in their old farmhouse home, eat their locally grown meals and enjoy their kind and loving company.
