SpringHill Suites Sumter

Great place to spend the night. This place must be very new. Everything is bright and clean. No odors or stains anywhere. Rooms are really suite sized — very modern furnishings. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a Buffalo Wild Wings next door if that is appealing to your delicate palate. Bottom line: I will stay here again.

I recently took a trip to Sumter and stayed at the Spring Hill Suites. This was my second stay at this hotel and I enjoyed my stay on both occasions. The rooms are very clean. The hotel looks modern and has a large lobby with a bar area. I love that the hotel offers an indoor pool and gym. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to others.

Best value I’ve had in all my travels. $ 129 before tax for a very nice room in a very nice hotel. Hotel seems to be new and is very clean. My standard king room had a full bath and a separate half bath. Free breakfast was very good with many different options. Bed was very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Terrible attitude at front desk. Don’t stay here unless you have no other choice!
We asked for help with an issue and the desk clerk said take it up with the manager tomorrow. Needless to say we won’t be coming back ever.

This hotel is superb. By far the nicest hotel we have stayed in as a family. Their suite had plenty of room to put a baby crib and still have alone space for me and my husband. The staff is young but mature, and extremely friendly. We stayed there for a week while moving to Shaw AFB (and yes they drop their price to the government rate!), and in that week the entire staff befriended us. The rooms are new and very clean, and the breakfast has a good amount of choices-​including the choice of waffles during the weekend or fresh fruit during the week.
Their washer and dryer are free to use and they have detergent at the front desk, definitely the first hotel we’ve been to with that bonus. The pool is indoors and there is a nice hot tub next to it. The room’s wifi and landline internet were very fast (we just had to provide our own Ethernet cord).
Finally, they were very gracious when we had to check out late due to move in issues. We would like to give a big shout out to Jessie at the front desk who took the time with his friend to help my husband ratchet strap a deep freezer to his car’s trunk, which was not a easy task. Thanks Jessie, and yes, bow ties are cool.
100% recommend to anyone willing to spend the extra money for an amazing stay.

This hotel is incredible. The location, staff and the property itself made my weekend stay amazing. The room was clean, fresh and comfortable. The breakfast was full of variety and flavor. Would recommend this to anyone driving through Sumter, S.C. And to top it off. Buffalo Wild Wings is right next door…

I wanted to be the first to write about my awesome experience at this new establishment in Sumter so here we are!
First and foremost, I initially booked my stay for the 26^th-​29^th of November for the Thanksgiving holiday but I actually extended 1 day partly because we were tired and also because of our accommodations.
Everyone we encountered was absolutely delightful from the guy who had our room key available at 330am check in to the staff who cleaned our room & I’m not talking about a mediocre clean I’m talking about wiping walls and doors in the room type of clean which I wholeheartedly appreciate. No it wasn’t my room, but I happened to pass by and saw the staff cleaning another room that well.
If you’re ever in SC, I’d say this is the best place to stay. The pictures of this hotel online are actually how it truly looks. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures in the Lobby and bar area but I will post my room pics! Awesome job to the hotel staff & I will be returning!
