For over 40 years Dr Farkas and his staff have been providing quality dental care for Los Angeles families. He has the pleasure and honor to now be seeing the grandchildren of his first patients as well as their friends and neighbors. As the practice has grown Dr Farkas has extended his services to include Orthodontics, Periodontics (Gum treatment) as well as Cosmetic and implant procedures. Dr Farkas takes pride in his work and the close caring relationship he has established with his patients and the community over these many years.

They always take good care of me. They give free a baggie with toothpaste, toothbrush, and floss. I visit every 4 months to prevent periodontal disease. It’s never fun to go to the dentist, lol. A lot of it is I need to take better care of my own teeth by flossing. But, when I signed up for Covered CA, I chose a package to keep this dentist. :)

Found this dentist here on Unilocal.Dr. Farkas is so kind and patient and only wants the best for his patients. His prices are reasonable for the area. The staff there are all nice. The specialist that extracted my tooth. Dr amirpour. is straight foward with you and does not sugar coat anything. He intimated me a bit but he is a pro at what he does. no bs. Everything went well and I highly recommend this place. I still hate going to the dentist but I will be back for future work.

I have been coming to this dentist since I was a kid, so going on tens years. The dentist really nice, but his staff is awful. The one who takes care of billing, Julie is the worst of the bunch. She is disrespectful and has no people skills they unfortunately lost mine and my families business because of Julie, and we have insurance I have no idea how they treat billing for those who don’t.

Dr. Farkas is the best dentist ever! I’ve been going to him for years and actually drive an hour to come to his office since we now live garden grove, ca. My six year old son was so comfortable there that he actually didn’t want me in the room while he got two fillings. Thank you Dr. Farkas for the amazing dentistry! Yikes! Stay away from this place! This dentist is a DINOSAUR and is clearly in his final years. As soon as you walk in, it feels like you stepped through a timewarp back to the 70’s. Everything looks insanely old and antique-​like (not just the furniture in the waiting room but the actual equipment and chairs). I went in for a cleaning and x-​rays and his methods are completely out-​dated. The dental hygienist is also an absolute B*tch and she better hope she never sees me outside their building. She purposely made the experience painful just to teach me a lesson in good dental hygiene.
When it comes to medical and dental care, it is crucial to find a professional that is familiar with the latest advances in medical/​dental care and especially technology. 5 years ago I visited another dentist (who eventually left CA) and her methods were completely different. She had more advanced equipment for taking x-​rays which was completely painless. Farkas still uses the old-​school methods of x-​ray torture.
GO ELSEWHERE! Farkas is a very nice guy but it’s obvious he’s just waiting to retire.

Dr. Farkas is the best dentist. I will always go there as long as he is there. The staff is great!
The dental hygienist is wonderful also. They are honest, friendly and helpfull with any questions you have, and you never feel like you are bothering them. I have to pay cash, because I have no dental insurance and their prices are reasonable.

Dr. Farkas is the best! I’ve been going there since I was about 10 years old. I recently switched my insurance so I can’t go there anymore but I miss him and his staff dearly. I just had a terrible experience with another dental office and I truly wish I could go back to Farkas.
