History

Established in 1981.

The Game Doc is a family owned business that was started in February 1981 by owner and founder, Kent Tieche. We started out in a 1,000 square foot building in Burbank, CA. The business started out as a one man, one woman operation. The entire company was run by Kent who did all video and pinball related repairs and a secretary that ran the office. When The Game Doc first opened, its customer base was mainly operators who ran heavy game routes during a time when arcade machine businesses were booming.

The company has come a long way since then. It is now located in San Fernando, CA. The new location has over 14,000 square feet of warehouse, office, and showroom and provides a wide variety of game room products and services.

The Game Doc is also a primary west coast distributor for Rock-​Ola Jukeboxes, NSM Jukeboxes, Wurlitzer, Ecast Jukeboxes, CoinCo, Standard Change Makers, JVL, Medalist pool tables and dart machines, and a secondary distributor of Stern Pinball.
