The Humane Society of Calvert County is the only place I go to get my four legged friends. It is also the first place I recommend when people ask me about getting a dog, cat, etc. They are a no kill shelter, with many volunteers who love and care for the animals until they find their forever homes. If you are looking to adopt a new member of the family, want to volunteer at their kennel, or to volunteer at a HSCC event their door is always open.

North Beach, MD
Compassionate and caring group. A true no kill shelter. I have adopted 2 dogs from them and received amazing customer service both times from knowledgable members. They also don’t descriminate based on breed or appearance. Will adopte from here again in the future
