Just bought my second car from California Auto Group. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… great service and excellent value. These guys know how to make you feel like family and make sure you are taken care of! Sending all my friends and family members to CA Auto Group for their future car purchase.

I bought a used 2010 Audi A4 from this dealership.
Right about a year after having the car, the engine seized and I took it in to a reputable European car specialist in Burbank to look at the car. The diagnosis: my entire engine would need to be replaced. Holy shit!
Alright — well, I guess it’s a good thing I purchased the warranty at California Auto Group, right? Wrong. Alpha Warranty decided they only wanted to partially handle the cost of repairs and took weeks just to get back to me.
I was carless for a month and had to go out of pocket on some very expensive repairs.
I’m not sure if I just had shitty luck and they are an honest business — the used car business already has a bad stigma; but I thought I’d share my experience.

This is actually the third car my family has bought in the past six months… The first car, a LEXUS IS.(from Cerritos lexus)…The second a GENESIS COUPE TRACK.(from thousand oaks)…AND NOW MY CAR,.“A BEAUTIFUL RED AMG C300 MERCEDES”…My father first contacted MARAT via TRUECAR concerning a 2014 S60 VOLVO… BUT,.after driving up to their place in SUNLAND and ‘test-​driving’ a few different really nice cars,…(with absolutely NO-PRESSURE-TACTICS)…I feel I got the best car for me,…at a price (and interest rate %) .that would be really hard for ANYONE else in the SO. CAL. market-​place to beat… THANK-YOU,.JACK…MARAT…and.CHRISTIAN…, for spending so much time with us, and allowing me to get real comfortable with our FINAL decision… We feel you ALL treated us really-​well.

We bought a 5^th wheel trailer a couple of months ago from this dealership and had a great experience. The unit was in great condition, priced very competatively and perfect floor plan for us. Victor delivered it in the RV park where we were living in and got it in the tight spot without a problem. They washed it, detailed it, and dumped the tanks before delivering, all without even me asking. Thanks guys, i have already refereed a few of my neighbors from our park.

Best prices ever. Just bought a 2008 G35 sedan. No one could beat their price. Car runs like new. All the guys were nice and helpful. Keep it up guys.

If you want the best, you found it! This is by far the best dealership I have ever worked with, I have to say… being in Sunland, I was a bit skeptical at first. I found them through Car Gurus, they had the Audi I was looking for, at a price well under blue book!
I was lucky enough to have Marat handling my deal! This guy is awesome! He is honest, friendly and goes way above and beyond in his customer service.
Held the car 5 days.

Car had a scratch on the window… Marat simply replaced the entire window :)
Small ding on the door? Marat got it fixed!
Wanted to get the car inspected by another shop… Marat brought the car there for me, and got it inspected.
Financing though dealer? (Never thought I would) however, Marat beat the other three offers I had!
I couldn’t ask for a better deal, experience or customer service.

Note: I read some review saying they wanted to haggle $ 700? Gotta say… when the car is over 4000 under book… you don’t really need to haggle.
Also, someone stated scam regarding deposit and holding cars? Marat held the car for me for 5 days… and gave my deposit back.

Easy transaction. I did my research and the price was fair so no haggling needed. Very professio al and the car is gorgeous. Totally recommend this place!

My wife and I just bought a vehicle from California Auto Group, and had a great experience overall. Having never bought a pre-​owned vehicle from anyone other than an authorized dealership, I have to admit, we were a little skeptical. Now that we’ve bought from California Auto Group, we realized there was no need to be hesitant about working with them.
The pricing is fixed (aka «haggle free») which I appreciated, because you know what you’ll pay from the beginning. The pricing is very aggressive (I really didn’t see anything comparable nationwide when doing internet searches). I called California Auto Group and spoke with Marat about the vehicle availability. I mentioned that we wanted to come down the next day to check the car out. When we showed up, Marat had keys in hand, the car was out front (which was freshly detailed) and was ready to go. The vehicle was in great condition, and after driving it, we went back to the office where Marat printed the CarFax and AutoCheck for our review. The records were clean, however, still being the skeptic, I asked if we could do a third party pre-​buy inspection to check for anything that may not have come up on the reports. Marat was more than willing, so I set up an appointment that day at a nearby auto shop («Volvo Pit Stop»…which is also a great business to work with). Marat drove the vehicle to the pre-​buy appointment, arriving right on time. The inspection came back stellar, so we decided to buy. My wife and I returned to California Auto Group, and in the meantime, Marat had the oil changed and a quick inspection done for us at the local Pep Boys.
When we showed up, Marat had the paperwork ready to go. The entire process only took about 15 minutes to complete, and he was very helpful explaining everything as we went along. Even the DMV registration is taken care of, so we won’t have to make a trip there. While we completed the paperwork, Marat had the car topped off for us, and quickly detailed one last time. We’ll be looking for another pre-​owned car in the near future, and definitely be returning to California Auto Group!

You are dishonest and I am very disappointed of your service, Jack!
Jack, I reserved appointment last weekend to test drive a car from your website for today and you were aware that we lived far from you. You confirmed that you would bring car in today.
I called today 3 hours earlier to check to see if the car is available for our appt 2 hours later and you confirmed. After driving for 2 hours in traffic and later in rain to my utter disappointment, you told me sorry we just sold the car to someone else and tried to do the switch and bait tactic.
In your website, you require appointments ONLY. Once the car is available earlier today, you sell the car to someone else who did not have an appointment, knowing full well that I had set up an appointment today. Again, I drove 2 long hours only to find out the car was sold 15 minutes earlier. Is this how you do business? If you were in my shoes, how would you feel?
I usually don’t write reviews, but this really got me upset and want to warn others of your deception and shaddy business. I only wished I read the bad reviews earlier where people complained that you covered up accidents of cars you sold. After reading the bad reviews in Unilocal,I am really glad that I did not do any business with you. I might also had been a victim of deception. Buyers beware!

This is the second time I purchased from Zaven, Marat, and Jack. I always get a great deal. Thanks for all of your help over the years. I am sure I will be back to buying from them in the future. These guys really know their cars.

Absolutely livid!
I purchased a 2012 Honda accord from them approximately two years ago. I found the car online and it was listed as a CLEAN title vehicle with NO RECORD.. Long story short I’m selling the car two years later and I have the car paid off with a CLEAN TITLE my the listing. Someone sends me a report from a month before I bought the car with a rear end accident in the report. I’m so disappointed and surprised that this place is in business for such a shady practice. LIFE LESSON learned here. Why not just be honest. Real customer with real records of this whole transaction. If anyone has anything to say about this, I will be happy to post all transaction details clean carfax from day of purchase.
I will be following up with this to the furthest extent of the law!

UPDATE: found the carfax they gave me at sale and its dated before a month before the day of purchase! How they bought the car at auction and sold it is beyond me. They must have some very shady business partners.

From start to end I had a great experience buying a car from them. It was easy finding the car I wanted and the whole process was just quick and easy and I really appreciated their customer service. They cleaned and detailed the car for me. They also allowed me to get the car inspected by my mechanic. I’m happy with my new Mercedes E350 :)

Wow! I had no idea this is how good buying a used car could be. Seriously. Fast. Painless. Easy. And honesty up front.
My first time ever trying to buy a used car from a business and I left after checking out the car on day 1 feeling like the experience was almost too perfect. Murad (or Marrat, my bad on the spelling) was super honest, relaxed and not at all trying to get the upper edge on the deal through any sleezy car salesman techniques. Totally just cool and knowledgable. Let the car sell itself (because when you got quality product it sells itself). I wasn’t sure 100% because I felt like one should never jump the gun on the first deal you see.
So I made the mistake of checking out another place the next day. Arrived to see a higher sticker price than online and to find out the car radio had been stolen, after meeting the car salesman son (on the lot) and having him try to corner me with a ‘so when can I expect a response’ I left feeling like THAT was the car salesman stereotypes are based on.
I went back the next business day to CAG and over the phone in the morning got the deal clinched and by the end of the day Jack was there to help get all my paperwork done, car cleaned, and filled up the full tank of gas in the car. I’m on a busy schedule work 9 – 530 (got there 20 minutes before closing) and they stayed a bit after closing to help me out with moving things from my old car to the new car (thanks Jack!). Seriously really impressed and hope to send anyone I know here and I really hope fellow shoppers don’t end up at those ‘other lots’ and end up here for a good upfront honest deal and super car. I love driving the new beast and can’t wait to drive and drive and drive. Left with a smile on my face and quite the quality car.

After looking and researching for about a couple weeks for a ct200h, i found one with a good price and low mileage in Southern California. I dreaded having to waste my time to drive all the way down if the car doesn’t turn out to be good but the car did not disappoint. Drove all the way down from the Bay Area to look at the CT200H they had. Loved the car right away after seeing and driving it. Jack gave us a great deal too. Great experience from a small dealer. Yes I gave a 5 star review that was before things started falling apart. Do not try and get out of personal responsibility, it’s not like you sold the vehicle to can am imports then they had it for months and months then sold it to me. I’ll set you straight REAL fast. You sold it to can am and I came and got it from YOUR dealership THAT day. Yes I technically bought it from another delearship but it from your dealership I picked it up from and was told by allllllll the people there how perfect it was. False advertising. And you can bet your life on the fact that I have emails and phone conversations recorded confirming those facts and once I’m done paying for the mess I’ll be coming after you in court. Selling a car «as is» doesn’t give you a right to sell Junkers. Especially when you tell the people buying that car how magnificent of a vehicle it is. LIARS.

There’s no way these guys are actual used car salesmen! They’re too nice, too honest and too personable. The people of California Auto Group, in one transaction have restored my faith in humanity. I can honestly say I have never met a better, more helpful group of people. I purchased a 2011 E350 Sport Sedan from them. It started with Marat, who went out of his way to drive the aforementioned vehicle to my personal mechanic, work out my trade-​in, and made the transaction smooth and fast. I never felt any of the pressure or distrust usually associated with buying a used automobile. This man was helpful, and exhibited a spirit of friendliness and willingness. I liked him from the start. He was awesome! At the same time, I met Jack and Amy, who not only took the time to make conversation and ask me how I was doing, but really seemed interested in my answer.
Two weeks after the purchase, I noticed a crack in the right front wheel which explained the slow leak we at first thought to be the tire. I was loathe to call Marat, because to be honest, I thought, «The car was sold As Is, and they’re going to tell me to get lost». My girlfriend talked me into calling, and I left a message for Marat. He called me back in 5 minutes and told me to bring the car in, they’d be replacing the wheel free of charge. I was stunned!
When I showed up, Jack and Zaven took the car off my hands, identified a tire on the driver’s side that also needed replacing, offered me coffee and a chair, and set about fixing the issue. 45 minutes later I was back on the road. New wheel, new tire. They even washed the car. And that was it. A handshake and a smile. I can’t say enough about this team. Real, down to earth folks who know that in all good business, relationships come first.
I can’t think of a reason to ever take my car business anywhere else. And if they start selling houses, I’ll probably buy one of those too. I feel like I made some new friends. To all four of you, Marat, Jack, Zaven and Amy: thank you for making what is usually an uncomfortable ordeal, a true pleasure.

I made a deposit on the weekend to reserve the car to be picked up during the week. 48 hours later I get a call from him the car is sold. What??? What was that deposit for reserving the vehicle then? It’s been three days and I still didn’t get my deposit back!!! The prime example of dishonest car salesman. It shouldn’t be this bad man.

Being an Armenian myself, I can tell you first hand that when doing business with other Armenians, it’s either going to be a hit or a miss. This place is a HIT! Marat (the guy who sold my little cousin a 2008 3series Beamer) is one of the most honest people I’ve ever met, and I’m sure we all know honest car salesmen’s are extremely hard to find. Which is why I insisted on accompanying my cousin. My cousin’s credit wasn’t the greatest but Marat was dedicated to work with us to the best of his ability and we were able to get situated very quickly.
5 stars because we had great customer service, and it’s been like 5 months and my cousin hasn’t had a single problem with the car (and the guy drives like a jackass.)

Zaven has mastered the art of selling cars. The only place I would buy a used car is from California Auto Group. I have experienced exceptional customer service. From start to finish I never felt pressured and I knew I was getting a great deal. My bank was slow in getting the financing it was the end of the day, Zaven let me take home the car before all the paperwork was finished. Wow! Try doing that at carmax! Furthermore, after purchasing the new Cadillac CTS, my wife and I went to take it for a spin up the coast, when we came back Zaven had washed and waxed my wife’s car without asking. That is going above and beyond. Thank you Zaven. You have a customer for life.
