Orange chicken were not that good. Didn’t taste right a bit to dry & soggy. Polite service. Clean place.

The food is amazing. It’s kinda small and well it’s like a hole in the wall Chinese food place so you can imagine what it’s like. But I honestly have no complaints at all. People are friendly, food is great, and it makes me feel Chinese so it’s awesome.

first time here today. ordered takeout for the 6 of us. the 1st styrofoam container and immediately the girl piled on the rice and the chow mein — overlapping the spaces for the 2 food items. onto the meat: wow! our jaws dropped as she kept and kept and kept putting more and more and more meat into this avg sized container. so to sum it all up– great big generous portions and delicious food! price isn’t the cheapest but it’s not expensive– it’s actually worth it. $ 7 for a 2 item combo meal. just too bad fortune cookies don’t come with them. will return!

Been looking for a good chinese food place and after reading the reviews decided to give it a try. I love the food. I had the mushroom chicken, sweet sour & sour chicken and orange chicken with the chow mein and fried rice. Totally recommend to others

Just ate here for the first time. Been looking for a local Chinese fast food restaurant since my favorite place in LA Crescenta burned down. This place fills the bill. Food was plentiful although the taste was average. Service was very fast and prices were reasonable. Would recommend Chor’s and will continue to eat here.

If you are hungry this is the place to go. Huge portions for takeout. Almost double panda. Food is decent. The service is fast and friendly. Typical Chinese take out. Better chow mein noodles than panda.

These guys are back and better than ever! Once again Chors has become my favorite local Chinese food restaurant. Delicious food with fresh ingredients, and excellent customer service. The lady behind the counter was kind enough to let us try several samples. Definitely going to spread the word.

If you are looking for healthy or high quality food, look elsewhere. If you are looking for food that tastes good, has large portions, and is relatively inexpensive this is your place. In particular, try the chow mein. Seriously some of the best noodles I have ever had.

Love this place! There aren’t too many choices for food in Tujunga so when I am craving Chinese food I go here! So much better than just getting Panda Express. Their chow main is beyond amazing! Soo soo good! I wish they would have the foods they have as a big platter on a normal basis because those sound delicious too! But other then that everything is so good. Must try if you want quick Chinese! Nice people too :)

I was sooo hyped about this place. The reviews were great and when I went in. the food looked great too. I ordered fried rice and chow mane with beef and broccoli and orange chicken. My entrees were yummy but the sides weren’t not that great. They both had some sort of slimy film on them and the orange chicken was a little mushy. Maybe I just came at a bad time. I was a little disappointed

I’ve been to this place a handful of times and I can safely say you won’t be turned upside down by the food. It’s filling and that’s about it. As other reviewers have mentioned, the portions are large and unholy, so there is that. But quality-wise, this is your run-of-the-mill Chinese take-out joint. They offer all the usual staples: orange chicken, beef and broccoli, kung pao chicken and BBQ pork as well as several other entrée items. The fried rice was decent, and the orange chicken was saucy. As for the beef and broccoli, this is hit or miss. I guess the last batch wasn’t fully cooked because it was pretty grey-brown in color and rather gummy — not crispy and darker like you’d expect from a good toss in the wok. I bumped the overall rating to 3 stars thanks to the staff here. Our server was incredibly pleasant and quick to offer up samples to anything behind the glass. She made the experience a good one, and it’s a true shame the food isn’t as memorable as the warm customer service this place provides. I suggest opting for take-out as the seating area is a bit bland and boring. I’m not even trying to be harsh — there’s just not much to the interior of this place. However, tables are clean and well-stocked with sriracha and soy sauces. They keep a tidy shop, and it shows. Basically, if you’re local and jonesing for Chinese, this is an alright alternative to Panda Express down the street. I personally can’t recommend it for taste, but you get a lot of food for your money, and as long as you don’t go in expecting to be knocked over with flavor, you’ll have an OK meal. 2 stars for quality/taste of food +1 star for solid and welcoming customer service = 3 star venue! :)

So good. So cheap. So unhealthy. I mean look, if you’re coming here for a meal it’s not to do your part in nominating it for the next DineLA week nor is it to supplement your recent all-Chinese food diet fad. You’re coming here to grub on food that is sure to take minutes off your overall lifespan with each mouthful. But who gives a rat’s ass about those minutes? They’re at the tail end of an otherwise lackluster life you’ve probably led filled with unrealized dreams and triple guessed regrets. Isn’t it ironic how this two item combo from Chor’s is the absolute personification of your worst fears? You know this shit is bad for you but the immediate gratification surely overshadowed what you knew was better for you in the long run. Wait, where was I? Sorry, watching a depressing movie at the same time and I think it’s affecting my review here. Having said that… omg the orange chicken is AWESOME. Perfectly crisp and not too sweet. The veggies with shrimp were meh mostly because I think I got the last of that particular tray. Solid fried rice but wished their chow mein was a little thinner like the ones you get at Panda. Somehow my mind convinces itself that that takes out like at least of the third of the calories. I’m hungry again. Going back to Chor’s now.

This place fills up the plates til the food starts falling off. They are very generous! Been going here for 5 years and never had a problem. I always take it to go because the place itself is pretty shaggy and small. And not much to dine in for. All in all, they’re always welcoming, great portions, and the food is good!

All of my friends and I are Chor’s fanatics. The 2 item combo is like $ 7, and it is MORE than enough food for myself, even at my hungriest. I literally CANNOT finish it in one sitting, and I’m a hungry teenage boy. I’ve only heard RUMORS of somebody finishing a 3 item combo in one sitting. They are extremely generous, polite, and despite the kind of hole-in-the-wall appearance, the food is DELICIOUS. I prefer the fried rice(which they give around 4 — 5 huge spoonfuls of if you double up), the bbq pork(mmm! best when it’s fresher, of course — before the lunch rush), and I usually vary my 2nd item, either with the beef & broccoli, the pepper chicken, or something random — all the choices are good! I highly recommend Chor’s if you want a great deal and good food. In my opinion, it’s better than Panda, and you get approx 2x the food for about half the price.
