Meet the Business Owner

George C.

Business Owner

George Collins has owned and run his own sign company since the age of 14.

His first business was called George’s Signs which he ran for 6 years in Topeka, Kansas. He was then drafted into the Military at age 20 and served in the Marine Corp for 2 years. He was promoted to Corporal where he served in Vietnam. George was discharged honorably with an outstanding service record. He then traveled to California and worked for Rembrandt and Castle Sign Company for 5 years. He was very privileged to work with master sign painters. George once again started up his own sign company, Collins Signs, as a sign painter and silk screen expert in 1980. In 2003, Collins Signs expanded into the printing business and prop fabrication for the film industry. He enlisted the help of several highly-skilled personnel. In 2009 he expanded into Collins Visual Media. He now works with top art directors in Los Angeles, making signs, graphics and props for films, commercials and music videos.
