There is no stopping from getting drinks. The sever kept them coming, didn’t have to look for him to ask for more drinks! Sat outside at the tables! Great place to get the night going!

3×1 happy hour. Average service. Come for the happy hour. The food is average. It’s perfect for the ambiance. Don’t go for the hot plates stick to the greasy food.

My feelings about the Porterhouse are ambivalent. On one hand, you can’t beat the 3 for 1 drinks, decent food, and the eclectic motley crew that frequents this establishment. On the other hand, you have to put up with the eclectic motley crew that frequents the place. The Porterhouse is like the human/​Russian version of the cantina bar in Star Wars. Smoking is still allowed and there appears to be no shortage of nefarious lesser Bond-​type villain wannabes involved in skullduggery. I have not been here when a heated argument or fight did not occur. I somewhat enjoy that aspect of the place but it sometimes gets too close for comfort. This place is a welcomed change from the cookie cutter corporate bars in South Beach and Las Olas but it is not for everyone. So, if you want to get shitfaced on a budget, enjoy colorful characters, or if you just want to buy a Soviet-​era missile launcher, this is the place for you in north Dade County.

The apps were good, the porterhouse, their signature dish was below average and $ 40. Eating it reminded me of caddyshack when he sends the steak back.

Mentally disturbed manager yellow and screaming even threatening. By far the worst experience of my life. I would never come back here even if the drinks where free!!! AVOID

Rude manager. Obnoxious. Never again. Yelled at us for requesting to put two tables together for 7 of us.

They should rename this place «Random». This place has no direction and subpar management. It has a prime location on the Sunny Isle strip and there’s plenty of multi-​million dollar condos across the street to support a steakhouse.
This place has a dozen great microbrews on tap. Why? I don’t know. My wife and I are beer junkies, but who drinks a nitro milk stout on the beach when it’s 80 degrees? Our waitress didn’t know anything about the different brews and they didn’t have any draft lists to put on the tables. To be fair, laminating machines and printers are hard to obtain. Of course our waitress got our beer order wrong, but was able to show us that they serve two different styles of beer in the wrong style of glasses.
Two flatscreen tv’s face the street as you walk in. One is obviously broken. This will distract you from the fact there’s no hostess.
While on my pilgrimage to figure out what beers they have, I noticed that they have a DJ booth (no dance floor), because you want DJ McDoofis blaring Katie Perry remixes while you’re eating your steak, an old fashion pull knob cigarette machine, because it’s 1970, and a pool table, because they had pool tables in Roadhouse.
Well at least the bathroom entryway is unlit. Good chance you’ll go through the wrong door. You have a 63% chance of getting maced or seeing old man junk, depending on your gender.
Our waitress had no coaching. She was nice, but obvious that she was just thrown to the wolves. A little guidance would go a long way.
Oh…wait…we have a draft list! One draft list for twenty tables. It’s a start.
We had burgers. They were ok, maybe a bit subpar seeming how their specialty is steak.
Go for the randomness, stay for the rudeness.

Average rating. This place is a steak & pub house. It does 3 for $ 10 martinis. It’s the locals bar since it’s open it 4am. Only other place I heard open that late in the area was a strip club. Had salmon fish fir the catch of the day for dinner. Came back 4 days later salmon was still catch of the day. Odd.
A lot of the local hotel workers from the strip come here since it open late. Also a lot of folks from «little Russia» a local neighborhood. I was mistaken by the locals as European due to my look (pale skin, big eyes, thin) Had some dude walk up to me speaking Russian, thought I was a local girl.
Came here a 2^nd night since it was close to the hotel I was staying at. Ran the pool table for ¾th of the night, made enough money playing the local guys to pay my bar bill. It’s $ 2 in quarters per game. Careful taking shots from the right side of table not enough walk clearance do you’ll need to high stick to take a shot.
No one ever expects the girl to play well. I practice with a APA level 5 player, learned a few things.

So I ordered a chicken wrap. only ate half because it was stiff as a board… so I ask to send back the other half to maybe get cooked again bc I couldn’t really chew it I had to eat around it and take pieces off… Server takes my plate and sagas she’s gonna ask. She comes back and says «no they said they can’t just make half, so do you wanna keep it?» I said «no thanks I really can’t chew it…» So she comes back 10 min later and asks if she can ring us up because shes leaving bc her shift is over so we agreed. She brings the bill and the chicken wrap is on there. I only ate barely half of a half so I asked if she could take it off the bill and she said she already tried but h r manager said no… So I asked to speak to him. The MANAGER named «RISKY»… Came to my table and said «I’m not corporate I’m here to make the owner money, and you ate half so I’m not taking it off the bill.» So we went back and forth and then he started getting REALLY HOSTILE and I was like ok I don’t want to argue with you why are you yelling at me… His response «
I had a grenade go off on my ear, this is normal!!! GOODNIGHT LADIES!!» CAN YOU SAY PSYCHO?.. Gets better… Server comes back to get my card and right behind her is the manager. He said «you have two options; pay the bill or I’ll call the cops» I SAID CALL COPS. HE DID! 3 cop cars show up and he told them we were trying to leave without paying. The rest is history, cops laughed, we paid. WORST MANAGEMENT ON EARTH. Was I in the twilight zone? Da faaaaaq.

Nasty and rude manager! I was shocked!

Porterhouse is definitely the go-​to spot in Sunny Isles Beach because of its 3−4−1 happy hour, location, and appetizers. The prices are super cheap, you are allowed to smoke here, and there is indoor/​outdoor seating (no need to wait for a table). The entertainment is okay, there’s pool tables in the back, flat screen TV’s inside, and they usually play nice music in the background. The vibe of this place is pretty chill, and usually has a mixed crowd of people. I always come here for the happy hour and chicken wings, but almost everything here is great. I have been a regular here for over three years, and I must say the service is not always the best (which is why I’m rating three stars), but they do have an entire new staff of waiters now, and the service is slightly improving. You can also see it has a better management now.

I went there on Tuesday night, order a cognac neat, I smelled it and it was straight whiskey. This is happened to me 3 times here. It’s actually disgusting knowing they marry cheap whiskey into a expensive cognac bottle and charge the price they charged. I sent it back and order a spiced rum, I diluted it with coke so I wouldn’t really know if that was real rum or not but hey it tasted like it.
The first bartender was not friendly and just seemed like she wanted to get out of there and the second bartender was a lot more nice and friendly but was too concerned with closing the bar down.
Overall I like the ambience there and the music was really good, it’s super chill at night but I just would not recommend anyone spending there money on liquor.
I’ve also had food there in the past and I would give the food service a 5 star. Definitely a place to grab a bite to eat!

Best place for happy hour! 3 for $ 10 drinks, good drinks (none of this watered down crap). Definitely recommend! Maybe I’ll see you there Friday!

Alert! Alert! Alert! The coustumer servise is horrible!!! Even manager of the place is Asshole. All staff are rude and unpolite.
I wasl felling like I owes money to all of them. Please never choose this place as your destination if you want to enjoy your life. Senior or Mr. Owner of this place please make some changes in your staff. Your place is a dump. But, keep going, probably You think you are the best Business Owner!

He yelled at me and called me an «idiot», just for asking him in a friendly/​normal manner if we could please sit in a table outside.
Please read all the reviews in Unilocal; UrbanSpoon; YellowPages — no coincidence! They ALL complain about this loser «manager» who has an aggressive attitude towards the customers.
I think this is sort of a «scam» where this specimen intentionally provokes you in order to then call the police and blame you against them.
I don’t know how this business is still active. I think it is not fair, it’s unethical and it should be closed-​down immediately! I will report this business to all the authorities that I can, in an attempt to close it or at least to spread the word out.
And to you «manager» — aka: miserable human being, I hope you read my review because this is just my initial, not to say, the lesser «review» I will publish.

Cool hangout spot that serves food really late. The calamari was good, the lobster crab dip was more like a seafood salad and didn’t go with tortilla chips at all. Potato skins were solid, so was the cheese flatbread. Drinks were strong, service was great.
I really liked the outdoor seating area.
